"HI PREYPAW!" The she-cat yowled, her eyes wide. She leaped at him with interest, her large black fluffy paws cupping at his ears. "You're a soft cat!" She purred. She took a few steps back then plopped onto the ground and sat lazily.

AcornStep galloped in, as usual she was always walking funky o.o, and dropped her dusty mouse on the ground. she blew at it to remove the nasty dust before picking it up in her jaws again and plopping it down in the pile. AcornStep pranced back to the warrior den.

PreyPaw laughed at the ecstatic warrior and gave her a playful swipe with his fluffy ginger paw. He turned his head to ChipmunkFire. "She's unique," he said, "It's good to be unique." He glanced back to CreekStorm and grinned. "Nice to meet you CreekStorm."

AcornStep took a large leap in and stood in front of the kill pile. Her eyes scanned the pile and noticed that her mouse she had caught was still there. AcornStep lifted it in her jaws and jumped back to the warriors den.

A large, well-built silver hued tom with a darker streak running along his back entered. He held a fat rabbit in his jaws which he had managed to catch and kill. The rabbit had provided a struggle, considering the cold had set in and prey was hibernating. He dropped it on the pile then tilt up his head and glanced around, eager to meet his clan-mates.

The pale brown deputy brushed against him, sniffing the prey. "Good catch!" She said, revealing smile as she dropped two slightlh small mice.

"Thanks," he meowed as he turned to face her. The storm hued warrior bowed his head to the deputy. "It seems our territory is supporting us well, providing us with enough prey to survive." A warm smile on his face.

"Luckily...but barely." She meowed, her pale green eyes resting on the small feesh kill pile. "Perhaps...Maybe a little contest would make things work." She then shook her head, flicking an ear. "This leaf bare is awfully cold," she remarked.

The stormy warrior shook his pelt, causing it to fluff up slightly. "It is cold," he said in agreement. "A contest?" His tone brightened in amusement, "Seems like it could also provide some fun. I'm sure it's what we could do with, as well as some playful competition?" He tilt his head, not seeming to sure what the she-cat meant by contest, but played to what he assumed she meant.

"It would probably be some playful competition. No first pick in the fresh kill pile or anything," she explained, quickly. "Moat of the clan would participate, and I expect many prey that day if it's hunting related." Her pale green eyes shined brightlh as she spoke.

He smiled to her and gave her a nod, "It seems like a good idea." He lifted his stormy hued colored paw and licked it, drawing it across his muzzle. He placed his paw down and his warm eyes fixed on the she-cat.

She revealed a smirk. "I wish. But, no. Only for a few moons. But, it already feels like home. I'm surprised I was appointed deputy - I recently came to ValiantClan, and was appointed deputy a few moons after thay. I expected a senior warrior to be deputy," she admitted.

He slightly shrugged, "Sometimes it's not always the oldest warriors who show the most potential." A smile brightened his face, "You make an excellent deputy. I guess that's why I assumed you had been deputy for so long." He chuckled and warmly flicked the end of his fuzzy gray tail at her.
