She narrowed her eyes, sencing the tom. "What are you doing here?!" She hissed

"I can go where I want, when I want," he snorted his reply. His hard eyes fixed on the she-cat. A sly smile revealed across his muzzle.

He flicked his tail to the side, "I am not harming you. You are a loner and cannot claim any real territory, either," he said, "It is not as though I am stealing your food. I think you should save your energy for someone else, someone who would probably pose more danger than me. Someone actually intending to take what you have." He sat down and began to lick his claws.

The she narrowed her eyes that just happened to be blazing with anger. "As long as you don't cause any trouble." She hissed warningly. "No harm will come to you."

Rivalry smirked, flicking his tail carelessly from side to side. "What would my gain be?" He replied, cocking his head to the side. "What's your name, anyway?"

Dusk silently trotted by in the shadows. As he heard the two cats his ears pricked in interest. He shrugged and hopped upon a nearby tree trunk to watch what would happen next, his black tail swaying with boredom in the wind.

A wounded tom limped past, his dark midnight fur shimmered in the moonlight. He sighted the cats in the distance, a grumble came from him as he lowered into an awkward crouch - pain striking through his leg and watched the cats.

Dusk looked back over his large shoulder and his ears pricked. More rogues? He hopped off the trunk and looked in the direction of the wounded loner, his yellow eyes shining bright.

A small fluffy calico she-kit padded out from her hiding spot. She sniffed the air then wriggled her ears, sending them forward as she listened to the sounds. "Helloo?" She called out, her eyes bright.
