Lyall and Fang pup birthing thread

(sorry for the admin or mods who read this, I thought that maybe they should do this without having it taking up the den with the birth of the pups)

Lyall began to pant as her eyes slowly began to become blurry. She was laying down on her side and breathing heavily as the bundle of life that was inside of her, was now going to be born, and she would be able to see her young ones for the first time. She began to kick around in discomfort as the pain she was feeling felt like she was being severely beaten, but she tried to bare it.

Fang layed a few inches away from his mate, as he felt sorry for her being in so much pain. Getting up and walking over to her, he licked her ever so gently on the side of her face. "Relax..." he said in a very soothing tone. "Everything is going to be alright... Try not to tense up a lot. The more you tense, the more pain you will experience. Try to just relax... Breathe through this... Everything will be okay... This is a very happy moment for the both of us... But just stay calm... That little bundle of cuteness will be outta there before you know it". Fang continued to soothe his love, his mate, he wanted to make sure she was comfortable, and not tense.

She nodded as she continued to feel pain, but she breathed and tried her best to stay calm. Each time she breathed, a stream of pain continued to shoot throughout her body. She began to push, and a small whimper escaped her mouth, even though she was doing what her mate had been telling her. A smile would come over her as she began to talk to Fang. "Perhaps you...should be the one...calming down.." she spoke since he did sound like he was about ready to faint. She would sometimes look up to see if anything changed, but she continued to push when nothing happened.

Fang watched with wide eyes as he was experiencing a copy of the same pain, only in his mind and heart, as with Lyall while trying to push. But she was right. Fang did need to relax too. Taking a deep breath, inhaling deeply, and then exhaling slowly. He hoped that Lyall would get the idea and try taking it easy as well. "Just breathe easily... No need for any tension... I'm trying to keep calm as well. I'm just talking soothingly to you, wanting you to know, just take it slow... Each time when you feel a strong contraction, that is your cue to relax... My cue to relax is when I know that you are relaxed...". Fang nuzzled Lyall softly as he continued to talk very softly to her.

She smiled and nodded as she soon felt a contraction and did what her mate had told her, and she was soon able to push easily, and that was when they saw the first pup. A reddish-orange colored pup with four white paws and a white chest.

Fang couldn't believe his eyes when he first saw the pup come out. His eyes watered with tears of joy. "Lyall... That pup is wonderful... I wonder if it's a boy or a girl...?" He decided to help lick the tiny creature clean. It was something that Fang had been expecting in all of his future years. He was now a father to this wonderful pup. He began to think of names that would fit the pup's personality well.

Lyall began to cough and she pushed again, soon having a black pup on the earth and had a white star on it's chest, and she was soon not feeling anything else, and she began to lick the pup clean while Fang did the other.

Fang soon noticed a black pup with a tiny white star on it's chest. Another bundle of joy, entering into the wolf pack world. It was the most happiest day Fang had ever had. A great sensation appeared in the pit of his heart. A great feeling no other wolf has experienced before. "These pups will change our lives forever... Welcome to the world, little ones..." he whispered softly to the pups, even though he had a sense that they couldn't hear yet. Smiling, after licking the orange and white pup, he licked Lyall on the muzzle. "Well done, Love... You have brought 2 healthy pups into the universe...".

She began to cough slightly, but she looked to the pups and smiled. She was happy as she looked to the reddish-orange pup and the ebony one, and she looked to Fang, licking the pup's cheeks, and then her mates.

Fang stayed very close towards Lyall and the two small pups. He wanted to make sure they were warm enough. Watching as they nursed, it gave him memories of when he was little. Not at birthing stage, but when he was about 9 weeks old. He could imagine the sparkle in his mother's eyes as she looked at him. But... Those days were over. Shaking off the memory, the black brute slowly and gently cleaned the pups, as they squirmed around and made loud noises. "They are just so adorable..." Fang whispered softly.

She looked to her mate and nodded as she continued to clean the pups. "And, the black one with the white on it's chest is a female, and the red-orange pup is a boy. And, I think I might have some names for them, if you would like to hear them."

Fang smiled. "Oh of course I would like to hear the names you have came up with". He felt so happy, he couldn't wait to hear what kind of names Lyall had for the 2 pups.

"The female, Nanacska, and the male, Alias," she smiled and looked to him, hoping he liked the names.

Fang smiled at the names. They sounded very interesting. Thinking that they would fit towards the pup's personalities, he decided to make his opinion about them. "Nanacska, and Alias it is. Those are wonderful names". Swaying his tail back and forth against the smooth ground inside of the birthing den, he felt grateful that he could easily remember these names. Besides, he couldn't have thought of better names, himself.

Fang licked Lyall back, as she licked him. Looking at the tiny pups once more, he noticed that their fur was a little fluffier than before. That was a good sign, because it meant that the wetness was going away. He wrapped his tail around both Lyall and the pups, keeping the whole family together.

Nanacska began to crawl over to her father and nudged him as she lied down and placed her head on his paw.

Fang smiled as Nanacska placed her paw onto his paw. He licked the pup softly on the head as it seemed that she was nudging him gently. "Aww... You are just so adorable, Nanacska...". Looking up at Lyall, he smiled towards her as well. "I think Nanacska really likes me..." he said softly as his attention turned back onto the orange and white pup.

Nanacskas black coat shone and Lyall smiles and nudges Alias who was whining as he was suckling.

Fang continued to look at the 2 pups. A much greater happiness spread all throughout his heart and beamed within the very pupils of his eyes. The pups made him feel kinda tired. Keeping close, knowing that they wouldn't escape for that far, and getting upset if one were to be alone without someone to nourish, Fang layed his head on his paws and closed his eyes, soon falling asleep.
