Apprentice Den

Dawn padded into the den she supposed was the Apprentice den. She made herself a small nest in the far corner, but she couldn't keep her mind off her friends she had left behind. Dawn thought about Rust, her kittypet friend she had brought into the forest, and the tom who had taught her the basics of survival, Hornet. I sure do miss them... She sighed. I wonder how they're doing. Dawn sat down in her new nest and gazed around the empty den, and pictured it as if it was Hornet's home. Then she shook it away and fell asleep.

RoaringFire padded in, smiling brightly. "Ready for you first training session?" His red fur was glossy as if he had groomed it in anticipation of the event.

Dawnpaw jumped to her paws, "Yes!!!" She mewled excitedly. "I can't wait!!!" The orange and white she-cat smiles.

Mistpaw woke up with a start; Dreams could seem so real sometimes. Her small body unraveled from the small ball she'd squashed into, and quickly she stood and stretched her long legs, one at a time. She looked around the Apprentice Den, wondering if she should go out into Camp or sit and make a few friends for a bit.

The white and orange apprentice padded into the den and noticed Mistpaw, "hi there, I'm Dawnpaw! What's your name?" Dawnpaw introduced herself cheerily.

Mistpaw jumped at the sudden voice. "Erm- My name's Mistpaw!" She said softly, flicking her tail slowly; The gray fur around her neck ruffled up like a birds' feathers. "Uh, how old are you, Dawnpaw?" She asked softly, hoping to make smalltalk and a few friends.

The deputy popped her head inside the den; the golden brown she-cat stood tall and long. Her warm golden eyes flickered in content. "Hey!" She greeted the cats inside, "How is training? All fighting and hunting hard to become big strong warriors, I hope?"

Mistpaw turned a little bit; Being very new to the Clan, she flicked her tail. "I'll try, but I'm not sure who my mentor is yet..." She squeaked embarrassedly. Personally, I hope they're nice, whoever my mentor is, she thought to herself worriedly.

"Traning's going good for me. Nice to meet you Mispaw, and I'm six moons old." The young apprentice replied to both Duckshine and Mistpaw.

Mistpaw smiled weakly, her shyness blooming through. She ruffled her neck-fur again, flicking her gray-black tail slowly. "I'm going over there to get some sun." She motioned towards a spot where the sun shone onto the ground from the opening of the den. She stood up and padded over to the sunny patch, flopping over. "This is nice. It's warm and I don't have to go outside." She remarked jokingly.
