Hunting!

DarkFlicker sat up, listening intently to the conversation. The she-cat shifts her paws uncomfortably, smiling weakly at Dawn, Roaring, and Duck. "I was a rouge that traveled around the twolegplace..." She begun to mew but trailed off voice becoming oddly quiet. "...I'd rather not think about it."

The she-cat gave a saddened smile to the cats around her, her ears flat. "Oh, all very interesting pasts," she said, softly. "Was it hard to leave your clan, Roaringfire?" She asked, curiously. The golden brown she-cat twitched her long, white whiskers and gave a small sigh. She tried to hold back the pain from creeping into her voice due to her past. "I was born in one of the distant clans," she explained, "With my parents and my beautiful little siblings. However, our forest was cut down by two-legs, they caught most of the cats and took them as kittypets, others fled. I was one of the lucky ones who managed to escape, but, sadly, I have never seen my family since. I traveled as a rogue for.. A long time, until.. I found RillClan."

I randomly made that up. So, I hope I don't forget it and give another random story. xDD

RoaringFire winced. "Very hard indeed... It must have been hard for you as well..." He flicked a fiery ear towards Ducky. "And you guys too... It appears that we have all had troubles... My old clan was my home.... And I was stripped from it..." He sighed looking at his paws.

Duckshine lowered her gaze and sympathetically nudged Roaringfire with her pinkish colored nose. "StarClan called us all here for a reason," she said, "Our pasts are heavy and deep, but, they are what make us who we are. I like talking to others about their pasts - they're all so different, some sad, and some amusing."

He gave a slight grin. "Yeah..." His eyes lit up "There was this time when I was in ValiantClan that Dov-..." He trailed off and the amber depths of his eyes turned dull again. He shook it away. "How was living as a rogue?" He looked over to her.

She tilt her head to him, her eyes softened at the sadness the tom expressed. "It was alright," she gave a small shrug, "Nothing like being in a clan. Prey was scarce, you had to fight others to survive. And.. I could not even begin to explain how lonely it was. Not the life for me," she said, smiling to him.

"Mm... Me neither..." He shrugged, giving a slight smile. "Im a social kind of tom," He grinned and cocked a flame colored ear.

The she-cat smirked, cocking an eyebrow, slightly. Her golden eyes were burning with excitement. The she-cat then reared up on her hind legs and leaped at Roaringfire, smiling.

"Ah!" The tom exclaimed, but he was grinning. He pushed her over and pinned her, looking down. "That wasn't very nice," He pretended to meow as if we were deeply offended, amber eyes light and playful.

The deputy wriggled beneath him, her eyes were bright. "Aww," she meowed as if in defeat, "But, I thought you were prey!"

"Well looks like your the prey now!" He growled playfully, amber eyes happy as he cuffed her ears gently and grinned.

She smirked, her eyes glinting playfully. She cupped his ears with her golden brown paws and began to laugh in content. "As long as you don't start biting me! I don't think I'm as good as a rabbit," she said.

He playfully nipped her ears and pretended to make a face. "Got that right," He grinned, batting her nose, rolling away.

She laughed and rolled onto her back. She breathed in the air and smiled. "I like this spot," she meowed, "It's such a peaceful area. It would be beautiful during greenleaf."

"Mmm," He agreed, follwing suit as he rolled on his back, looking up at the sky. "It's so peaceful. I'm so glad there isn't snow everywhere. It always got stuck in the pads of my paws," He meowed quietly, grinning as he looked over at her.

She stifled a small giggle. She parted her maw, a smile showing. "I don't particularly like snow either," she commented, her white whiskers twitching. "Too cold, too slushy and there simply was not enough prey," she said. The deputy glanced towards the camp then back to Roaringfire, "The other clans have been rather..Quiet, don't you think? It seemed like ages since that distribute with ValiantClan. I anticipated that something would happen as a result..I guess those mousebrains realized that it would end poorly for them."

A sleek she-cat padded along the shore-line. She inhaled the salty air, her nose wrinkled slightly. She tilt her head to the side and managed a small smile as she thought about the past.
