Deputy Ceremony

The muscular leader leaps onto the HighLedge, his eyes shining brighter than they had in a long time. The tom gives a yowl, beckoning his clan to a meeting. Once everyone was settled, the feline begins speaking.

"Toady is a great day for RillClan! We have been getting stronger and stronger and you have all proved your loyalty and I am so proud of all of you. But as of now, one of you has really caught my eyes. This certain warrior is always willing to help out, is very loyal and also very kind."

The tom glances around though the crowd, looking to pick out a certain member. Once he had spotted the cat he wanted, he begins the ceremony.

"I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of RillClan is Duckshine."

The clan cheers and greets their new deputy with yowls of, "DUCKSHINE! DUCKSHINE! DUCKSHINE!"

"DUCKSHINE, DUCKSHINE!" Roaring yowled for her, grinning broadly, pride for his friend gleaming in his eyes.

"DUCKSHINE! DUCKSHINE!" DarkFlicker chanted with the others, smiling happily.

The golden brown she-cat tilt her head up, her eyes closed briefly. She reopened them and widely smiled. "Thank you," she said, softly. Duckshine lightly purred, her tail flicking side to side.

"You'll make a wonderful deputy," He purred and bumped her, amber eyes warm.

"Congratulations, Duckshine," SplashPaw purred as she made her way towards the new deputy after the cheering had died down a bit. Being the shy and socially awkward cat she was, SplashPaw didn't know what else to say, but the cream tabby she-cat felt happy for DuckShine, knowing that she would be a great deputy to RillClan for moons to come.
