Nursery

"W-Won't that make us look like we're weak? What if they don't want to s-share?" Rainkit asked. "Grr, why do I st-stutter so much..?" She grunted.

HonestyKit darted out after HowlingStar, his eyes shining with pride. He had faith in the tom and thought up to him as a inspiration. "Howly?" He meowed raspingly, his throat dry, "Why did the water go bad?"

Chestnutpool watched the small kit, a smile etched onto her face.

(Sorry Kani, I actually didn't see the "idea" part. xD)

HowlingStar turned to the kit and crouched down so he was smaller and at the kit's height. "I'm not sure," he said, flattening one ear. "But, hopefully we can find more water soon." He nuzzled the kit then glanced to ButterflyRain with joy.

She licked her mate's cheek and flicked her blue-black tail across her paws.

HowlingStar purred like thunder. "I love you," he whispered into her ear before padding out. :3

HonestyKit nodded at the leader's response then snuggled up to his mother.

The leader purred then padded out.

*hazelleaf padded in* are we leaving?

She padded out of the Nursery, finally. At last..

Maplekit rolled in, uncontrollable of her playfulness. She leaped and squeaked in circles, then sped around the nursery. She slipped to her belly as she tried running across the room one last time. Before she could get up she found herself still on the ground, still breathing, but her eyes shut tight and fast asleep. Maplekit mostly couldn't control her moods, such as hyper, playful and exited. But she couldn't help not falling asleep. Her ear flicked as dreams flied upon her mind. She became a warrior in her dream and heard everyone chanting her new name; Maplestripe! Maplestripe! Maplestripe! Meanwhile, in her sleep, she was chanting the same exact thing, not to loud and not to soft, but anyone could hear her. Maplekits snoring mewls repeated her name for the rest of her nap but finally stopped at a point. Hunger and her own snoring woke her up. Her stomach rumbled and roared for food. She wanted to try fresh-kill for once. She didn't know how to ask for it or if it's the right thing to ask for so she just sat towards the entrance of the nursery, eyes wide, waiting. Her patience suddenly got uneasy. She made her way to the exit and wandered her way to find the fresh-kill pile.

Chestnutpool poked her head in and dropped a wad of wet moss onto the ground. "Water." She grinned and ducked her head out.

MorningFlower trots in and purrs a hello. She sets down a giant ball of moss in front of the kits. "Here you go guys! I thought you might enjoy this. Have any of you every played 'MossBall'?" She smiled, her eyes friendly.

"Oooh, me!" Maplekit mewled while she trotted in. She wasn't grumpy and lazy anymore after she heard the word 'Mossball'. "Ooooohh!!! I wanna play! Me me me!" She squeaked and leaped.

The she cat mrrowed with laughter. "Okay, okay. You ready?" She enthusiastically bat the moss ball into the air and towards the little kit.

"Yay!!!!" Maplekit yowled as she hit the MossBall with her head as hard as she could to make it go to the warrior. She leaped and squeaked as she waiting for the ball to come back to her.

*Blazepaw padded up to maplekit with a mouse in his jaw* "Here, do you want to split?"

Maplekit looked at her brother. "Oooh... I've never tried fresh-kill before! Except that other yucky squirrel. Its tail was filled with fur. Yummy, a mouse!" She squeaked.

MorningFlower came in and dropped some fluffy feathers for the kits on the floor. She smiled at the kits longingly, hesitating to leave, but pushed herself out, swooshing her tail in goodbye.

"Oooh... fluffy!" Maplekit curiously squeaked and turned to the fluffy feathers. Maplekit leaped into them playfully. She popped her head out and stifled in a ginormous sneeze. "These feathers are so fluffy!" She roared. She carried the fluffy feathers in her mouth all the way to VC. Shy tried not to cough as the feathers kept poking her throat.

MiseryCloud padded into the den. Her eyes searched the walls and old nests. The cat had seen the medicine cat back in ValiantClan and had been checked over. It was time for her to get some rest. She curled up in a mossy nest and fell asleep almost instantly.

PebbleStorm entered with fresh moss. She sprawled it across the floor of the den then padded out.

She stirred in her nest then woke, rising from the mossy nest. She padded out, longing to stretch her legs.

Chestnutpool poked her head inside the den. "Anything I can help with?" She meowed softly, her vision seemingly unfocused as she longed for something to keep her occupied with.

"MiseryCloud?" HowlingStar meowed, almost in confusion. "You're expecting EelHeart's kits?" He frowned, having not known. He gently gave her a nuzzle. "I'll be here for you, always," he said, firmly.

*silverfeather came and prodded chesnutpool with a paw* i need to tell you something! *she looked at miserycloud. at first, confusion clouded her eyes. then mischief* congradulations! eelhearts right?

"What is it?" Her eyes filled with a puzzled look as she tilted her head to the side.

MiseryCloud gave her best friend a warm nuzzle. "Thanks, HowlingStar." She turned to SilverFeather and gave a slow nod, "Yes," she said. She slightly yawned and curled back up in her nest.

HowlingStar licked MiseryCloud's ear, "I'll fetch you some fresh prey." He said as he turned and padded out.

MiseryCloud gave a light purr and a nod. "Thank you," she said, softly.

"MiseryCloud," PigeonFeather meowed as she slinked into the den. She still felt sick, her ears slightly flat. She covered her stomach with her tail and gently leaned against her friend for comfort and support.

"Oh, Pigeon," she meowed in surprise, her head tilt up. "You don't look so well..Are you okay?" She gave her friend a light and warm nuzzle.

She leaned closer to her, confusion and tears in her pale green eyes. "I think I'm expecting," she whispered to her friend.

"What!?" MiseryCloud backed away from her friend, anger and annoyance flaring up in her emerald eyes. "PiegonFeather!" She growled, "You should-.." She glanced around and hung her head down low, muttering the words in annoyance. "You should know better," she said, "It was that tom..Wasn't it..I knew you two seemed just too friendly."

PigeonFeather lowered her fawn colored head and gazed down at her paws. She's right..It's wrong. I should know better and I do..It's not like I planned this to happen. She flattened her ears and gave a slow sigh. "I didn't plan for this to happen, neither did he..It, it just did. I don't know what to do, Misery."

She gave a slight sigh, feeling that perhaps she was too harsh on the she-cat. "Has PebbleStorm noticed?" She meowed, examining her friend, carefully.

She shook her head, "No."

"That is a good thing," she said, sighing in relief. "Although, she is a trustworthy medicine cat. But, once she notices, as will others. Perhaps you need to tell the clan something else..Something other than the truth. The truth will waver the clans trust in you as well as their loyalty. You will need to tell them something else, unless you manage to hide it from everyone." She said, her tone still in a hushed mutter.

"I just feel sick..It could just be a bad rabbit?" She meowed, seeming hopeful, although, the deputy was certain it was not just a bad rabbit. She leaned against her best friend for comfort and support. "Perhaps I could tell them..I was attacked on the border, after the battle. A rogue, one..I have not seen before. He disappeared after and I was too frightened to tell everyone..?"

She gave her a light nuzzle and nodded. "But, PigeonFeather.." She meowed, her gaze firm. "You cannot continue to see him. I am warning you now. You can't. It must end." She said, her eyes on the she-cat. She was gravely concerned for her friend and feared what may happen if she continued to break the code.

She gave a slow and hesitant nod. Once it if confirmed.. He will have to know about his kits.. SnakeHiss should at least know that he is to be a father. She licked MiseryCloud's ear then got up. "You're an amazing friend and I can see why EelHeart loved you the way he did," she said, slightly smiling. The deputy padded out of the den, her tail whisking the air.

MiseryCloud grinned then lay her head back down in her nest. She fell asleep almost instantly, enjoying the Nursery to herself, with only a few kits. She was feeling somewhat excited about the arrival of her own kits, but, nervous and sad at the same time.

IcyPaw quietly pads in with fresh moss. She silently started to change the,moss, not wanting to disrupt Misery.

Wow. The trth is out already xD

HowlingStar entered with a plump mouse for MiseryCloud. He placed it down at her paws, bowed his head then trotted out.

MiseryCloud stirred in her nest. She sniffed the air, the fresh new scent of moss in the air as well as a fat mouse. She leaned forward, hooking the mouse with her claws. She ravenously consumed the mouse, purring at the taste.

IcyPaw bowed her head at Misery, smiling. "Tell me if you need nything " she sid, slipping out of the den.

A small pure white she-kit with stormy grey/blue eyes entered camp a dark grey feather printed on her right shoulder she giggled as she pounced on a small rock

She gave a nod to IcyPaw then glanced across at the kit in the Nursery. "Hello," she said, softly.
