The River

The river gushes loudly and thunderish as a small kit stirs up beside the water as it grows calm, the small tom unconscious, it's black fur sleek and short. The tom was to muscular for a kit to be a kittypet, pure grey fur with a swirl of brown in his pelt with a white tail tip and paws with a very unusual brown spot on his front left paw. His name, Talon. Abandoned by the looks of it. He awakens and meows loudly, his eyes open with tears rolling as he stays laid on his side. His deep orange eyes looking around, too tired to move.-"Where am I...."-meows for help very loudly, fear caking his meows. He meows and screeches in agony of lonileness.-"Momma...."-he whimpers and lays there-

The she cat sees the kit and rushed up to him." There there little kit. You're going to be fine."

HowlingStar padded along, his eyes fixed on the small kit. "Take him to the medicine cat den, Meadowstream," he meowed to his warrior, his eyes soft. "We cannot let this young kit die out here."

She gently took hold of the kid's scruff and began to carrie it towards the camp.

ViperPaw padded in the wind ruffling his silver tabby pelt. He looked over to the kit and cocked his head slightly in curiosity. "Hello, HowlingStar. MeadowStream," He meowed, eyes still on the little kit.

She waved her tail in greeting since her mouth was full of fur

The deputy approached the group. Her soft, pale green eyes observed the kit. "There seems to have been a lot of rogues appearing lately," she said as she glanced over to the leader, "I'll have to double patrols." While the she-cat loved kits, even had kits of her own, the thought of rogues and loners in SombreClan made her uneasy.

Talon just curled up in a tiny fluffy ball of light grey fur, he had a swirl of brown embedded deep in his pelt, his white paws tucked into his fur, he meows loudly, his eyes watery and open to reveal bright yet dark orange eyes, his mouth agapped in confusion-"Mwomma....."-whimpers and pas the air in the direction of the river but just stays being carried-

ViperPaw, curiosity tugging at his paws, forced himself to turn away and look into the river, looking for interesting fish he might dare try to catch.

The fawn colored deputy gazed into the cold, rushing water. She lowered her head and lapped up the water. She closed her eyes then opened then and turned to pad away.

HowlingStar yawned, exhaustion coming over him like a wave. He shook his head, rapidly, in attempt to wake himself. The silver colored tabby lapped up some of the water then turned his body side on, searching and sniffing for one last kill before heading back to camp.

A almond colored apprentice bounced along the edge of the River. The deputy's daughter gazed longingly into the colored water.
