Pebble's nest

The new medicine cat entered the den with a large clump of moss in her jaws. She dropped the moss and spread it out, forming a new nest for herself. She then went to her storage of herbs and began to sort them, ensuring they were all in their correct places.

The deputy padded in, smiling merrily. "How are you settling in?"

MiseryCloud limped in and sat down by the entrance, "Hey," she grinned, bowing her head to Pigeon and to Pebble. "I got a thorn stuck in my paw while hunting," she said. The warrior lifted her paw, revealing a sharp thorn stuck in her paw-pad. She flattened one ear but continued to smile.

"Very well, thank you," she said to PigeonFeather. Her crystal blue eyes gleaming like water. "Ohh, painful," PebbleStorm said as she went to MiseryCloud's side. The medicine cat gently pulled the thorn out of the she-cats paw with her teeth then placed the thorn aside. She went to her storage of herbs and began to sort through them, she returned to the she-cats side with some leaves. She began to chew the chervil into a poultice, she then spread the herbs across the she-cats paw and wrapped it with cobwebs. "You are to keep off that paw for the remainder of the sunrise," she instructed, "You should be feeling better later."

MiseryCloud watched with a great deal of interest then nodded, "Thank you," she said as she got to her paws and limped back out, eager to bask in the sunlight for the remainder of the sunrise.

PebbleStorm nodded then went back to her supply of herbs.

"Pleased to hear it," Pigeon gently nuzzled the medicine cat then darted out.

PebbleStorm purred at the deputy's comment then flicked her tail across her paws.

She pads in with a two plump mice, dropping one at PebbleStorm's feet and another at the ground. "Hello!" She purred, smiling. She continues, "There will...be a cat coming in soon." A frown creased across her features, but it disappeared quickly. She smiles and dips her head, then pads away.

PigeonFeather entered and gently came to PebbleStorm's side. Her tone was a hush, "A previous leader of SombreClan will be arriving in here soon." She turned her head to the side, cocking a slight yet unsure smile. The old leader seems so rude.. Hostile, unkind.. I am not sure what HowlingStar will do.. I'm not even sure I can trust such a hostile tom.. She pushed the thought from her mind, becoming suddenly annoyed with herself. Of course I can trust him! He's a SombreClan leader. SombreClan cats stick together! She shook her head then darted out.

PebbleStorm observed MarigoldFlame's expression, a hint of worry stabbed naggingly at her body. The stone grey she-cat then whisked the air with her stone grey tail, "What is wrong?" she meowed after the deputy. PebbleStorm shrugged slightly then fetched moss and began to spread it across the den for the wounded cat who was soon to be arriving.

Duskpaw was about to fall back asleep in her nest, until she heard her mentors meow. "Mhhrh.. what's wrong, Pebblestorm?" She meowed, looking up at her.

The oily black cat slipped into the den, a devilish smirk across his muzzle. "You furballs must be the medicine cats," he snorted, rolling his eyes. "I never did care much for them," he retorted as he stretched out his wounded leg. The attack happened sunrises ago, yet was already festered with infection. Fresh blood still seeped from the wound as he had knocked it a few times on his arrival to SC.

PebbleStorm's cold grey pelt remained still, she slightly turned her head to the tom. Her eyes fixed on the gash and she went to her supply of herbs. "DuskPaw, you may want to observe this. It could be beneifical to you," she said, kindly. PebbleStorm padded up to LightningGrowl, an angry frown on her expression. "If you want that leg wound to heal, you will shut your muzzle and do as we say," she said as she placed some poppy seeds at the tom's paws. "Swallow them," she ordered, "They will ease the pain and make you drowsy. Rest and herbs to cure infection is possibly what is best for you." PebbleStorm padded over to her supply of herbs and returned with marigold. She began to chew the marigold into a poultice. Once the mixture was fine, she spread it across Lightning's large leg wound; covering the gash completely. "This is Marigold," she said to her apprentice, "It treats and cures infection in large wounds. It can also be used for inflammation and bleeding." The medicine then bound cobwebs to the leg wound in order to keep the mixture in place as well as attempt to stop the bleeding.

Lightning is gettin' knocked around xD

The brown she-cat brought in three pieces of prey, one for Lightninggrowl and the other two for the meddies. She smiled at the medicine cats, nodding at them politely. "How's everything going?"

Grouse trots into the den, her eyes bright... That is until she notices LightningGrowl, "Ugh. Not you again." She shakes her head, realising how rude she had been, "Sorry," comes a more quiet mew, "Pebble can you check my tail.. I think it is fully healed but your the expert!"

LightningGrowl gazed around, cackling humoredly to himself. Still, my warriors are hostile and rude.. Good. Who knows how they will turn out once I'm through with them..I just need to convince my son to see my way.. He has always been easy to manipulate.. "Learn some respect," he retorted gruffly. "I was around before half of you were born - leading this clan and making it great. If it weren't for me, your precious HowlingStar would not be standing where he is this sunrise." He clamped his muzzle shut, feeling that was enough to say, for now, at least.

MiseryCloud approached the entrance, she frowned at the tone of LightningGrowl and turned around, heading back to the forest. xD

She narrows her eyes to LightningGrowl, snarling slightly, "That explains why your so grumpy, I didn't realise you where an elder." She mews, slightly hostilely, "I would dread to of been in this clan when you lead, HowlingStar is nothing like you."

"Good!" PebbleStorm meowed to ChestnutPool, "Nothing I cannot handle," she peered to LightningStrike. Her icy blue eyes narrowed. "Go to sleep," she said to him, "You are to rest, not cause chaos in my den. I do not wish to hear another word." PebbleStorm spoke firmly. She had met a few rough cats in her time, but, none quite as bossy as LightningGrowl. The stone colored cat greeted GrouseWarmth with a smile. "Congratulations!. HowlingStar accepted you, didn't he?" She observed the new warriors tail and nodded. "It has healed very well. You can now begin your warrior duties, hunting and patrolling!" She beamed, nuzzling the cat, contently.

She grins, nodding, "Thank you so much Pebble!" She turns lightly on her paws, sticks her salmon colored tongue out at Lightning and exits.

The blueish black apprentice entered with a bird for the medicine cat and her apprentice. He glanced across to LightningGrowl, "Sorry," he meowed, apologetically, "I didn't realize you were treating someone. Should I get them some prey, too?"

Lightning cackled gleefully, something sinister spiking his tone. He decided he would not continue to make another sarcastic or sly remark, instead he lay his head on his paws and watched the apprentice with interest. Seems.. Oddly familiar, he thought. The idea didn't last long as he found himself distracted by the slight stinging of the herb mixture on his wound. He flicked his ear and peered to his wound, he knew it was healing, slowly.

(Not sure if this herb mixture stings.. But, usually when something stings, it means it's healing? xD And dw about the "he seems familiar stuff" - Howl wants Lightning to find out without being told)

Grouse pops her head into the den, "Hello Honesty!" She mews, before turning to Pebble.. "Would you like me to bring you and... that some prey." She mews, glancing hostilely at Lightning.

Chestnutpool snorted, holding back a laugh at Grousewarmth. "Remember, he's still an ex-leader. Although a bit hostile."

The pale brown she-cat entered, her eyes fixed on the cats within the den. "GrouseWarmth," she said, firmly, "Show more respect. He is a guest within our clan and surely, that is not how we treat guests." PigeonFeather frowned, shaking her head at the hostility of the warriors. "Leave the prey collecting to HonestyPaw, it seems he has already fetched one piece. Another would not be hard."

LightningGrowl narrowed his hard, blazing golden eyes, fixed on GrouseWarmth. You're going to regret that.. He quickly turned his head, gazing at the deputy with curiosity. I'm assuming that's who my son picked for the rank.. Not bad. Seems rather intelligent, wise, even. I'd like to put her fighting skills to the test.. He lay his head on his paws, making no attempt to sleep, merely rest.

She lowers her head, glancing at Pigeon. "Sorry," she mews, before turning to LightningGrowl, "And sorry if I upset you or something..."

HonestyPaw dipped his head to the deputy and darted out to fetch more prey.

Grouse darts back into the den... again, "PebbleStorm, its time to move to ValientClan, no rush, but some of the others are already there." She mews, her tone flat, before she glances to LightingGrowl, "Come on, I will walk with you if you want?" She mews, her tone piping up as a smile tugs at the corners of her muzzle. The she-cat was determined to make it up to him - after how hostile she was earlier on.

LightningGrowl stirred in his nest then slowly sat up. "I know my way," he muttered angrily as he slowly got to his paws and hobbled out of the den.

PebbleStorm frowned slightly to LightningGrowl then made her way out of the den.

She shrugs, "Suit yourself."

The medicine cat entered. She was tired, as were everyone else. It had been a long few sunrises. She set some fresh moss down in the den then began to sort through her herbs.

"Let me help," IcyPaw, the new medicine cat apprentice offered eagerly(Howly accepted me as the medicine cat apprenticr doesnt seem to be around?) "I am nof so sure about the herbs, though..," she said.

PigeonFeather slowly came to the entrance of the den. "I have a wound on my shoulder which ought to be checked over," she said, memories of the battle in her head. SHe pushed them away and glanced down at the large bloody gash on her shoulder. The wolf had bitten her and left a horrid mark. She flatten one ear and glanced away.

She peered at the wound worriedly, flattening an ear. "What herbs do we give her?" She said, her egea resting on Pebble.

The deputy sat down and waited, patiently, not seeming to be in a rush. She gave a smile to IcyPaw then glanced across to PebbleStorm.

"I collected some horsetail recently," she said, "It grows very well in the marshy grounds of our territory. Horsetail treats infections and helps to stop bleeding." The medicine cat eyed her apprentice as she spoke then went to her supply of herbs to get some horsetail. She returned to the deputy's side and chewed up the horsetail into a fine poultice. She then pasted the poultice onto the deputy's shoulder wound. "IcyPaw, can you get me some poppy seeds and cobwebs? The seeds are small and round, almost oval shape. The seeds will help PigeonFeather get some rest, relieve the distress and shock from the battle and also ease the pain of her wound. The cobwebs will be used to bind the paste to the wound." She gave the deputy a light nuzzle, "You will need to keep your fluids up and get plenty of rest."

She lowered her head, slightly guilty, "Sorry I couldnt help you," she said, her pale blue eyes widening guiltily. She perks up, "Okay!" She scampered off and nosed the herb store until she found the correct herbs. "Is it these?" She meowed, eagerly.Horsetail for infection, and stops bleeding... she recited.

HowlingStar poked his head in the den, two mice in his jaws. He lay them both down by the entrance. One for the medicine cat and one for the apprentice. The silver-tabby bowed his head then ducked out.

She glanced at the leader, smiling. "Thank you!" She called out, bowing her head as she shifted her eyes to PebbleStorm. She pads out briefly.

She came back later, with a huge pile of fresh moss with her. She dropped it neatly around the pile of other moss, smiling brightly before ducking out again, seeming quite busy. She returned with some herbs and placed some watermint at PebbleStorm's paws. "What are these herbs?" She said, curiously. "I found them in the wet boglands."

The oily warrior entered and narrowed his eyes to the two medicine cats and the deputy. "How's my leg?" He snapped, "Is it better?" He sat down and lay his previously wounded leg on the ground. A large scar now left behind, the the wound fully healed.

She sniffed it and touched it, lightly. She glances at her mentor. "I think it‘s fine."

She took the poppy seeds and cobwebs from Icypaw then nudged the seeds towards PigeonFeather. "There," she said, "They will ease the pain." The medicine cat then bound PigeonFeather's wound with the cobwebs. She gave her a gentle nuzzle and a warm smile. "I will need to see you in a few sunrises, just to check on the wound," she said. The medicine cat ignored the apprentice's question and drifted across to LightningGrowl. She checked over him then gave him a slight nod. "Yes," she said, "It seems it has healed with some time. I will inform HowlingStar and I suppose that will mean that you are on your way?" The she-cat turned and examined the herb which her apprentice had retrieved, smiling. "This is watermint. It cures bellyache."

(I'll go over the stuff like and stuff soon like how U did with Dawm. xD Teach her things and etc once all this calms down.)

I know xDD HowlingStar said that IcyPaw could collect fresh moss and herbs to help but then I realized that she knew nothing, so I had to fetch some herbs and do something xD )

"Poppy seeds would ease pain,.." she murmurs and then peered at Lighting‘s wound, seeing what was a healed wound like, She drifted to Pigeon, seeing what a wound that was not healed like xD

Pigeon smiled at the kindness of the two medicine cats. She lapped up the seeds then padded briskly out.

Duskpaw looked at her mentor. "May I go and restock the herb store? I believe we might need more poppy seeds. Don't worry, I know that I must be careful between poppy seeds and foxglove seeds. They are very similar looking. Foxglove seeds cause heart paralysis, and poppy seeds are not recommended for queens, but they help shock, stress, and sleep." She meowed.

OOC: Sorry I haven't been on much. I'm active again, just for about a week I had A LOT of important things going on in real life that really stressed me out and I couldn't be on. Good now though.. with activeness that is.. :/

Not feeling too good mood-wise.

Uh...Jason? O.O What are we going to do with Nighty back, and IcyPaw s...? Or Is Alana on? I'm  cobfuseddd O.o
