Pebble's nest

(Wishy is feeling better)

PebbleStorm glanced down to Wishingfeather and gently nuzzled her. "How are you feeling?" She meowed, smiling. "You seem much better," she said, "Also, congratulations! I heard you got an apprentice."

He padded in, tilting his head slightly to the medicine cat. He smiled and sat down inside the warm den. "I got a few nasty scratches in the fight," he explained. The tom flicked his tail to the scratches and gashes across his flank and shoulder.

She flattened one ear and quickly went to the warrior's side. "Ohh," she said, smiling, "They don't look too deep," she said. The medicine cat gently spread a poultice of Horsetail across the wounds and slipped him a few poppy seeds. "There," she said, "Swallow those seeds and get some rest. You should be feeling better in a sunrise or two. Try keep the duties light."

Honestynight consumed the seeds the she-cat had offered him then licked her paw as a sign of respect. "Thank you," he said as he padded out and off to the warriors den to get some rest.

She nodded and turned back to her supply of herbs and began to sort them, carefully.

The large silver leader entered with a small mouse. He placed it down in PebbleStorm's nest then quietly left.

"Thanks, HowlingStar," she meowed, bowing her head to the leader. PebbleStorm went to the mouse and began to nibble at the fresh meat.

Walks in carefully letting out a soft mew "um.. hi, ive been coughing alot.. Can you help me out please?"

Pebblestorm turned her gaze to the small kit and offered a warm smile. "Of course," she said. She fetched some herbs then went to the kit's side. She pushed some catmint towards the small kit and smiled, "Eat this," she said, "It will cure your cough. But, perhaps you should stay in my den for a few sunrises, just until it is cured. You don't want the kits in the Nursery to catch it as well."

"Ok" is interrupted by a wretched bought of coughing my sides heaving and i let out a small moan of pain. I turn to the catmint and lick up the leaves quickly chewing them and swallowing. "Thank you" My voice is barley a whisper my throat aching from all the coughing.

"You need to sit down and rest," she said, firmly. The medicine cat kept her eyes on the kit, "Get some sleep, too. I will check on you when you wake," she said, her eyes bright.

"Thank you" mews pitifully my voice ragged and i walk over to a nest and curl up. I cover my nose with my small white paws and my eyes close my breath becoming shallow with sleep. My paws twitch from dreaming the fur along my shoulders and spine prickling.

She observed the kit then smiled, nodding. She flicked her tail and went to her supply of herbs. Unusual..Greencough during Newleaf. Hopefully, it is contained. The medicine cat darted out of her den, then returned with a fresh mouse from the fresh-kill pile. She placed it down at the paws of the kit.

"Thank you.." I tuck into the mouse my ribs still showing under my long silky pelt. My nose twitch turning towards the place she kept the herbs "So, catmint for greencough and whitecough, my mother said marigold for wounds and poppy seeds for sleeping. Tansy for coughing, horsetail for cracked or sore pads. What else?" I mew in curiosity lifting my gaze to the skilled medicine cat.

"Horsetail is not for cracked paw pads and there is a lot more to it than merely that," she said, her tone slightly firmer than usual. "Horsetail is for infection," she said. "Poppy seeds are a pain relief as well and are not to be given to all cats. Some are the exception." She felt slightly interested in the kit, but, not much. She had the impression that this kit felt as if she knew it all, yet, in reality, it was not so. She cleared her mind of her raging thoughts and smiled, her eyes were warm. "How are you feeling?" She asked, examining her, "I think you might be ready to go back to the Nursery soon."

Notices her tone and stammers a bit knowing the tone was used for scorn "S-sorry i grew up in the abandoned twolegs nest in Valiantclan territory, the rough ground gave me sore pads constantly but i understand theirs more to it" drops gaze to the floor showing slight embaressment. "Im fine... i.guess ill leave then" murmers getting to paws.

I'm sorry, but, no, no you didn't grow up in the abandoned two-leg nest in ValiantClan territory.

That spot is a hunting spot of their territory, VC cats go in it all the time. There is no way that a rogue could have lived in one of their most popular hunting spots and have never been caught. Plus, not to mention the fact you never actually roleplayed there, so it can't be possible. That hunting spot was also brought up in the Earthquake and has not been there very long.

I had roleplayed there, a long time ago though so the comments might be ancient lol

But, as I said, it's unrealistic for a rogue to randomly "live" in another clan's territory without being seen.

Blazeheart pads into the den, his shoulder now not covered with the herbs. It was reopened. Huge bite mark on it ad insie of it. It was only big enough for Blazehearts own jaws. He growls and lays down beside an empty nest right on his injured shoulder, not caring anymore, he looks at the cave wall. He growls and speaks to the medicine cat-"let me guess. I'm confined here until you tell me I can go. And, because of my stupidity it probably won't heal as it would have? Or, it'll heal right but it'll take longer?"-the huge golden warrior says, in a deep angry voice, he never even looked at her but he knew she was there by her scent of her herbs-

The fawn colored deputy approached the entrance to the den, she fixed her pale green eyes on Blazeheart then elevated her head; meeting the medicine cat's gaze. "Ensure he stays here until he is healed," she meowed, "I will be checking in every now and then." She tilt her head back to Blazeheart, "Blazeheart? Do show PebbleStorm some respect, she is after all the one who will be healing you. And don't forget our little discussion at the camp. If you leave here and try to find that fox..You will be disobeying HowlingStar and you will be escorted from SombreClan, whether you like it or not. SombreClan cannot tolerate disrespect, even if it is an act of determination. Risking your life like that when there are many other capable warriors is foolish and wrong. We are not dogs," she almost hissed the last of her words.

"Leave him alone! At least he has the courage to go after a FOX as injured as he is! Stop treating him like a kit, and more like a warrior who would die for his clan and is clearly showing it!!" hisses going to stand by him my tail lashing from the vibe of ignorance in the den.

Blazeheart listens outsideof the den into the clearing, everyone discussing him, he growls and scratches his claws across the ground-"I can't go after a fox. But, I can leave this den..."-he hisses and bounds out of the den awkwardly with his injured shoulder moving, he disappears witht he swish of his tail.-

She narrowed her pale green eyes to the two cats and strolled out of the den. Disrespectful..

She gave Pigeonfeather a gentle lick between the ears, "You're a great deputy and surely one of the best in the forest. Some cats just do not understand. They are blinded or have little knowledge of the forest around them."

HowlingStar entered, carrying a kit in his jaws. The silver-tabby lay the kit down in what he assumed was an empty nest. He gazed up to Pebblestorm, "I found her, in our territory, she's cold and was alone."

Brightkit-

A soft colored grey kitten lay curled opposite of the others, his brown tail tip touching his nose, dried tears under his eye as if the tom was crying. Too muscular for a normal kit, as if it had been training since it could walk. The swirl of brown in his pelt made him strikingly more interesting. He stretched and looked around, forgetting how he got there but not caring, he yawns cutely-

She padded in and saw the kit going over to him.
"I wonder how a kit could have popped up in the territory?" She mused aloud to herself.

The tom just stretched his huge orange eyes to the she-cat who walked into the den.-"Who....?"-he tilts his head to one side at the she-cat as if asking a question but not finishing it. He stands up and stretches padding over in a running joyful stride but stumbles and falls on side giggling before crawling over-

She looked down at the kit." Where is your mother little one?" She mowed in curiosity.

Talon looked at the she-cat and just stares up at her fir a few moments, he shakes his head clear of confusion and he lays his head on his paws-"I do not know... I just woke up beside the river."-he sniffles and tears form.-'I must have done something wrong..."-meows loudly in pain and grief-

The medicine cat quickly flicked her tail to HowlingStar, "Begin licking her fur the wrong way, ensure her blood is circulating," she meowed. The medicine cat cast her gaze slightly across to Talon, "Please help me," she meowed, "We need to lick this kit's fur the wrong way. We need to warm her up." The medicine cat tilt her head slightly to Talon, feeling a wave of sympathy and wonder. Why is he inside my den? Is he sick? Who is he?

Um. Why is there a rogue in the medicine cat den? Anyone care to explain it..? xD

Talon whimpered lightly before he hopped over to the kitten and began to immediately lick it's fur the wrong way, his paws steadily on the ground, he felt needed here in some way, not in this certain den, but in this place, he didn't know what to call it, his fur was wet as if he had been swimming, though he was too young to swim. He looked up at Howlingstar as he kept licking the kits fur. His fur rippled as e did not like the feeling of so many cats but he quickly regains his composure. This kit was strong, as if already doing some form of training-

(I think Talon may have a chill. He is a rogue kit wh wahed up beside the gushing river_

Brightkit-
Brightkit let out a mew of protest as the other cats began to lick her fur. She tried to move her front paws, but they were to tired to move. Finally, Brightkit opened her eyes to see the three other cats who were licking her, along with the tom who had found her.

Talon hissed with a grumbling growl and backed away from the kit, he didn't like to feel trapped as he rushed way into a corner so he wasn't surrounded int he open, not a smart idea, but it served him fine in his own mind. He growls-"No one corners Talon..."-he meows trying to growl but it comes out in a sqeak and he looks around noticing he's in a corner and cornered so he hangs his head in hot embarrassment. He lets out a low high-pitched squeak dashing out of the den and into the clearing-

She tilt her head to the side then gave a small nod to Howlingstar, her eyes warm.

Brightkit gazed up at one of the cats who had licked her. She was looking at the Tom. She let out a mew as she started to feel cold again.

Hazelcloud padded into the den, limping. "P-Pebblestorm? Something's wrong with my leg." The cat whimpered, her voice full of pain. Her front paw looked strange, as well as bruised. "I think I broke my leg.. I don't know." She mewled.

Feralclaw stuck his head in "Oh believe me you would know if you broke your leg." he meowed

"Yeah, I suppose so." She said, and laid down to take the pressure off.

"Well," he meowed "Hopefully you'll be ok." he meowed fiull of worry
