The leader pads into his den, the dim light creating a rather eerie atmosphere. The tom curls up in the corner, planning to go to sleep.

"Dynamicstar?" Splashpaw poked her head into the den, her expression solemn. There was nothing more that she hated than to disturb the leader and keep him from resting, but it was a matter that she must discuss with him.

The leaders expression was solemn as he watches the medicine cat apprentice enter, wondering if she knew about RoseShine. He had yet to notify the whole clan but he wanted to talk to SplashPaw privately first.

The issue was regarding Roseshine indeed. The medicine cat had been missing for at least a half moon now and Splashpaw was pretty sure that Dynamicstar and perhaps half the clan had noticed. She stepped into the den nervously and began, her meow barely a whisper, "I haven't seen Roseshine lately." The cream-tabby she paused for a heartbeat before taking a deep breath. "a-and I don't know if she's coming back." Splashpaw looked at the ground, shuffling her paws awkwardly as she waited for the leader's reply.

DunamicStar closed his eyes briefly, he had been trying to put off telling the clan... He had wanted a firm start in the forest and if the news spread, it would knock them back. The matter, however, could wait no longer.. "RoseShine died last sun-high." He mumbles, a sad expression shadowing his facial features.

The leader nods, lowering his expression.. "I found her near the border.. she was collecting herbs." The toms eyes flash angrily, "I scented TempestClan on her.." He mutters, wondering if it was their doing..

"TempestClan..." she echoed as her eyes clouded with fury. "W-what did she do?! For StarClan's sake, she's a medicine cat! They killed her," she hissed, jumping to the only logical conclusion she could come to. "Dynamicstar, TempestClan will pay for this."
