The River

She smiled and padded after him.

She approached the waters edge, gazing at her reflection.

EelHeart padded up alongside SquawkingSparrow. "Would you laugh or be angered if I pushed you in?" He said, dryly, his sleek tail flicked side to side.

BadgerStride blinked and gazed at the river. He striked his paw in, catching a fish.

(Lazy kill, I know. But I'm on my phone and the battery is going to die)

She approached EelHeart and SquawkingSparrow, her paw prodding at him. "Would you be angered if we pushed you in? Or laugh?" She teasingly smiled.

I would laugh, He thought quietly to himself. Though, I wouldn't show it. It'll be expressionless...as usual. After his past, he had refuse to smile or talk to much to others. He was use to having a blank, expressionless look on his face.

*padded up to badgerstride* badgerstride can I talk to you?

He blinked and shrugged. "Sure, whatever."

*lowers voice** I lied to howlingstar and told him that I saw butterfly with a valiantclan warrior and that she said she loved him.

His eyes widen, and for the first time in a long time, his eyes widen. It was way too....way too serious for him to have no expression. "WHAT!" He exclaimed loudly. "Why did you lie to HowlingStar and told him something ButterflyRain that never did? With a VALIANTCLAN WARRIOR? She loved him? ButterflyRain didn't do anything to you." He was practically yowling his words out. He was extremely loyal to his clan and couldn't believe she did that. "How could you?" He shook his head slowly, his whiskers quivering. His tail flicked, irritated. "Why did you do that?" He meows loudly, bristling slightly.

His eyes narrowed. "So?" He replied. "If you truly love him, you'll let him go." He meows curtly, his face turning back to the no-expression-ever face. "You'll let him go if you love him. 'Love' is a strong word." His tail flicked. "I think, that you should tell HowlingStar the truth." He meows briskly, twitching an ear. "And apologize to ButterflyRain." He blinked.

your-your right i'll go right now! thanks *runs back to camp*

He blinked and slowly pads to the river, gazing at his reflection. Inside, he was like, well, .....
Expressionless as usual. xD

(That was intense for a 6-post conversation. xD)

HowlingStar briskly padded past.

"HowlingStar," he greeted

The leader purred, "How are you? Eyed up any she-cats, mm?"

"I'm fine....and no, of course not." He replied with a flattened ear. "I can't and I won't."

*pads over* hi badgerstride! would you like to hunting?

He shook his head. "No, sorry" He replied with a curt, brief nod. "I came here to think and have some time alone." He twiched an ear. "And have some quiet time."

HowlingStar glanced across to SilverFeather then kindly smiled, "Sorry," he said, "I didn't mean to interrupt your alone time. But, BadgerStride, if you wish to talk, about anything..You know where to find me." He said with a smile before padding off.

oh. okay well you know where to find me! *pads back to camp*

He dipped his head. "Thanks, HowlingStar." He meows softly, blinking. He hesitated and decided to head back camp.

MiseryCloud padded through, aimlessly, her mind elsewhere.

PigeonFeather padded up to the waters edge and lapped the water.

MarigoldFlame pads nearby, lapping up the water. "Hello," she purrs, dipping her head.

*silverfeather pads up and looks at her reflection in the water and sighed hoping someday she would find a tom who loved her and she would have a kit that lokked like her or the kits father*

ShadowClaw padded up to the water's edge and dipped her muzzle in, lapping up the cool waters. She stopped drinking, sat down, licked her paw and drew it over her ear, and began grooming her black fur. When she finished, she drank some more, then retracted her head. "Hello MarigoldFlame. How are you?" She asked, cheerfully. Apparently she was having a very good day, since her face was usually expressionless, and today, she was more cheerful and her expression was replaced with a gleeful smile.

ShadowClaw heard the too-loud yowl and walked over to them. "Seems everyone has a crush on him. And are you sure thats love? Love doesn't have lies. You have a crush, SilverFeather." She replied dryly.

first of all please don't double post and second of all weve already finished that discussion and are back in camp

MarigoldFlame tipped her head with bright smile. "Hello!" She purrs.

(Guys, I think she's been told enough )

PigeonFeather kindly smiled to all the cats within her surroundings, "How is everyone?" She began to purr, her tail flicking side to side.

"Fantastic! Not sure about my brother, though.". She says with a soft laugh.

*sighs and pads back to camp*

PigeonFeather lapped up the cold water, purring in delight as the water ran down her throat. EelHeart approached her, pressing his dark mattered fur to his sisters. "Hey," he said, barely audible. "Oh, hey," PigeonFeather replied. "I told MiseryCloud about our past. The first cat to ever hear the actual words," he said, heaving a sad sigh. "Anyway, I just thought I would tell you." PigeonFeather nodded, but remained silent; feeling it was best to remain silent. She didn't disagree with what he had done, in fact, she has glad. Her brother always worried her, his hostility - it seemed to be fading, only slightly, though. EelHeart weakly smiled then padded out.

Squawking padded in, her eyes fastened on the gushing water.

"Hey," HowlingStar meowed to Squawking as he approached her.

MarigoldFlame bounds to HowlingStar with a forced smile across her muzzle. "HowlingStar..." She greets quietly with a dip of her head. "I thought you'd like to know that....that my brother, RuffledStrike, is....gone." She spoke quietly, choosing her words carefully and shook her pelt slowly. "He wasn't very keen on joining the clan, though he agreed to gave it a chance when we first join," She continues softly. "I guess, he couldn't stand it. He left." She weakly smiles. "He never liked many cats around. Especially clan cats, the fact that clan cats killed our parents when they wanderd too close to another clan's border. Far from here, though." She took in a small breath. "I just thought you'd like to know my brother left. I...hope you won't judge him." She blinks, flattening an ear.

*silverfeather bounded up* marigoldflame we have to look for ruffledstrike. I can see the potential he needs to become a fantastic warrior. I know that clan cats killed your parents and that wasn't fair. *she turned to howlingstar* with your permission weather marigoldflame wants to come or not, I would like to search for ruffledstrike.

Gingerflower pads to them quickly. "What is going on?  I was hunting and then... I heard about Ruffledstrike.  I may have found a trail." (Funny cuz I have no idea where he went... Maybe twolegplace where he meets Ice, once she is entered and Accepted? Not saying that she will be, it isn't my choice.)

She bristled then calmed down. "No. He may have the potential, but, he woulsnt be happy..." she meows quietly, flattening her ears. "Please sont search for him. I know him well. I want him happy, " she meows.

"What if he's hurt? I don't want to offend him, I just want to make sure a former warrior is safe." Gingerflower looks defensive.

"NO! ' MarigoldFlame exclained. Taking a few breaths,  she added,  "He can take csre of himself. What hev wont want is us finding him."

Chestnutpool's ears drooped. "So we lost another warrior?" She whispered sadly, remembering her brother's departure two sunrises ago.

She avoided her question.

"Yes. We did. I am going to find him." Gingerflower meows determinedly. "With the leader's permission. I find it very important that we at least know where he is. He can be mad at me the rest of his life. I am going to find him."

"No, I mean it!" MarigoldFlame hissed, bristling her fur. She was getting irritated. "Don't, for StarClan's sake!" She controlled herself from not doing anything too awful. "I already said. Dont. Go. RuffledStrike will just freak out. Dont go find him! I know you guys will care for him but its not making things better." She lashed her tail.

Gingerflower raises her voice to a sharp, dangerous tone. "I want to know where he is. I swear I will stop once I know."
