Fenris is getting calmer. But still has trouble trusting others. Lately, though he finds that spending time with Waya makes him ... happy. More so than he ever has before, even with his past mate.

Well, yeah, Fenny did like another she-wolf before Waya, but she died before he had the chance to ask her to be his mate. He never did get to tell her how he felt.
Sooo, in a way, I guess they were unofficial mates, since she also liked him that way.

That's why Fenny is a little confused about it. xP
