"That'll be so cool!" Gladekit chirped and hopped around. "We should start today!" She padded to the end of the wall in the nursery, as if she can place the imaginary thrush on the wall above her. Gladekit stopped and poked her paw at a damp, muddy spot that very slowly leaked towards her other paw. She aimed her nose at it, smelling it to make sure it was safe, then lapped up the tiny stream. "We're flooding!" Gladekit dramatically said, but in her 'play voice' so it's not serious, "Glub glug glaaaaub!" she pretended to drown.

Warbling squeaked with delight. "Hi, Gladekit! I'm Warblingkit! You have a pretty name," the kit mewed, frowning slightly. "Mine is too long."

"Thank you!" Gladekit thought about other long names to cheer her up. "Your name isn't too long, imagine being called Chimpmunkstar! Or Dynamicstar- oh, that sounds like a mouth-full!"

Gladekit loosened up, then sat up straight. She looked around for inspiration. "Hmm.. If they're fake, then Big-yellow-setting-sun-lighting-up-the-big-blue-sky-with-pink-and-orange-as-a-squirrel-passes-by-and-runs-up-a-tree-as-their-clanmate-walks-by-with-a-rabbit-in-their-jaws-kit!"

She huffed. "You're far too good at this game....Er...Fat-mouse-that-scurries-at-night-and-eats-brown-acorns-which-make-its-stomach-hurt-as-well-as-makes-it-fatter-with-more-fur-on-its-tail-paw!" Warbling thought for a moment. "I think yours is longer."

"Haha, yeah." Gladekit took a deep breath and named another one. "Big-rabbit-runs-with-all-its-might-as-a-cat-chases-the-rabbit-to-feed-their-clan-to-be-rewarded-with-respect-and-to-be-come-the-leader-to-rule-over-the-forest-with-their-awesomeness-paw!" She panted a little. "And I hope to be that cat, but not really the leader part, just to be respected by their clanmates."

A brown furry kit wobbled into the nursery. His bright amber eyes glint mischievously as the tom hopped over to Warblingkit- flashing her a wide, yet pleasant grin. "Hi! I'm Beaverkit!" The small kit chattered his teeth excitedly.

Warbling squeaked. "Hi! Hi! HI! HI!!" She wrinkled her nose, giggling all the while. "Oohh....Beaverkit..." She tested out the name on her tongue, making a queer expression.

The brown spiky kit glanced over at SalmonSplash, his mouth agape in a giant 'O' as he blinked his beady eyes. "Your so BIG!" BeaverKit announced bluntly, but pleasantly as he scampered over to the warrior. Straining his head to look up at her- a wide grin stretched across the tom's features. "I want to be as big as you when I'm a warrior! Then no one will mess with me!" He cheered, sitting down with a clumsy thud- he still looked up at her in utter awe.

The leader enters the den, his eyes bright as he watches Beaverkit and Gladekit. Dynamic gives a warm nod to SalmonSplash before his gaze returns to the kits, "Hello little ones!"

Gladekit stopped in surprise. The leader! She had to impress her leader! The white and orange tabby kit puffed out her small chest to make her look confident. "H-hi Dynamic star!" She managed to get out of her mouth, "I'm going to be an apprentice in like.. three or two moons!" She bounced up happily.

BeaverKit heard a new voice coming from the entrance of the nursery. Straining his head to look past SalmonSplash's paws, the kit's eyes grew even bigger than they were before, to the point of almost popping out of his head. "DynamicStar..?" The new name slurred off of the toms tongue, as he looked up at the leader in admiration. "HI!"
