Rivalry's den
The large, sleek black tom lurked in the shadows of his small den. An old abandoned fox den - comfortable enough for the rogue. He held a limp, yet scrawny rabbit in his jaws which he had caught earlier. He sat down, outside his den and began to consume the fresh, red meat.
Re: Rivalry's den
Rust an extremely curious loner walked around looking for a place to hunt, being taught by one of the other loners how to hunt he parted his jaws and scented the air

(Huh? xD)
Rivalry quickly finished his meal then brushed aside the bones. He got to his paws and slowly began to approach the loner, "Hello.." He said, narrowing his eyes, slightly.

Rivalry lifted his eyebrows, slightly. "There is a stretch of grass over there," he meowed, "Past the trees over there. It doesn't take long to get there," he said. The shaggy unkempt tom sat down, licking at his claws.
Re: Rivalry's den
"Ok, thank you." he meowed before bounding away happily

Re: Rivalry's den
"Hey! Is that your place over there?" Cirrus called as she looked back in the direction of Rivalry's den. "I'm going to go see it, if you don't mind!" With that, the little gray tabby kit bounded off to the abandoned fox den.

Re: Rivalry's den
Rivalry narrowed his eyes, again, feeling slightly uncomfortable at the thought of another cat snooping through his den. He dashed after her, quick to get back to his den. He arrived at his den and protectively hovered near the entrance to it, his eyes remained narrowed. "Why so curious about where I sleep?" He meowed.
Re: Rivalry's den
"You showed up at my place uninvited. I'm returning the favor. Now, you won't owe me anything!" Cirrus chirped happily in reply, though her green eyes were serious. Her speech either showed that her pattern of thought was extremely dull, or extremely brilliant.

Re: Rivalry's den
The tom tilt his head, slightly, she had a point; this kit was clearly not stupid. "Perhaps," he replied, coolly. "What's your name?"
Re: Rivalry's den
"Oh, I thought I told you! My bad. I'm Cirrus," the kit mewed. "That's the name the twolegs gave me. But I'm not aflissikated -- uh, affleated -- wait, wait, the word is affiliated -- with them anymore." The small tabby looked slightly embarrassed by her difficulty with the word.

Shadow came to watch from the darkness, his deep amber eyes glowing. He smirked at the kit, white teeth glinting in the dark.

As Cirrus took a deep breath in, about to give off an exasperated sigh, she noticed a strange scent. She had no idea that anyone else was nearby, but she knew something strange was in the area... She glanced about, looking to either side.
"Umm, something feels wrong, so... nice den. I'm going to just leave now," the gray tabby mewed anxiously, turning to leave.

The large black tom stiffened at the scent. "Wait," he meowed, "Stay here. Just until that cat goes," he said, suggesting the idea to her. "You may be safer with me than out there. Some rogues are not all that nice," he said, softly, not wishing to frighten the kit.
Re: Rivalry's den
"Cat? Y-you mean another stranger?" Cirrus mewled uncomfortably, straining not to make her fear clear. Her yellow-green eyes widened and her fur bristled. "Uhh, okay. I'll stay here for a while, then..." she muttered quietly, glancing suspiciously in all directions.

Re: Rivalry's den
The dark tom chuckled in amusement. "No need to fret off your fur," He smirked slightly, grooming his paw in the shadows, not caring to reveal himself. "I don't usually hurt kits."

Instantly, Cirrus's miniature, filed claws unsheathed and dug into the ground when she heard the dark voice of the tom. She tried to turn to face the source of the noise, but could only figure out a general location. "Who's there?!" she yowled in her soft, sweet voice that was tainted with her unease.

The black scruffy lone tom narrowed his golden yellow eyes and tilt down his head, his muzzle parting slightly. "What brings you to my nest?" He said, a small yet suspicious sly grin on his face.
Re: Rivalry's den
"Rivalry, do you know this stranger?" Cirrus mewed in the process of calming herself down to a reasonable mood. Her fur was still bristling, but her spine lost its arch and her claws retracted. She stared suspiciously in the direction of the unknown cat.

"No, no. This tom most likely doesn't know me." He smirked from the darkness. "And what wrong with taking a little walk?" The sleek, black tom slithered from the shadows, amber eyes glinting.

Re: Rivalry's den
A large brawny ginger tabby tom strolled past. He sighed, a she-cat playing over and over in his mind. Audacityflame pushed the thought away and shook his head, it was time to forget TempestClan and her..He needed a fresh start.

Re: Rivalry's den
xD I dunno what I was planning to make Shadow do...
The dark tom narrowed his eyes as he heard Audacity. His dark amber eyes turned back on the kit. "Like I had said. I like to stroll. Take walks. What rogue doesn't like to do such things?" The worlds slid off of his tongue as he gave a grin, white teeth glinting.

He gave a slight nod, his shoulders remained tense. "I suppose," he replied, his tone remained cool. "What is your name?"
Re: Rivalry's den
Behind the cats, a snowy white-furred she-cat walked forwards and looked behind her, trying to look for something that was behind her before. She tripped over a stone, and fell on her stomach, finding herself near the four cats when she looked up. "Oh goodness! I'm sorry!" The she-cat meowed as she got up.
OOC: Do I awkwardly leave (There is a lot of rogues already here), or can I join the conversation? I'm bored and can't think of what to do with Frostpaw atm so I kinda want to have a convo with rogues.
If not, I already have an idea of what I could do instead, so no problem.

Re: Rivalry's den
Audacityflame turned his head towards the newcomer, his eyes remained narrow, but, he said nothing. His gaze slowly went to Shadow, he examined him, carefully. The tom then got the courage to speak up and introduce himself, "Audacity," he muttered.

It's fine.
The black tom gave a small smile to Audacity, then glanced across to Frostpaw, "Are you okay?" He asked, his tone was emotionless, but, deep down, he was slightly concerned.

Re: Rivalry's den
She looked at the sleek night-colored tom. "I'm fine. Just a scratch. Thanks for asking." She said without thinking, and then remembered that she wasn't in a particularly friendly environment, that she knew of. "Er-" She slightly stammered, trying to add an explanation for why she acted so friendly for a second. Nevermind. I'm making myself look awkward. That was a stupid thing to do. I'm not supposed to be nice to cats I don't even know that could possibly kill me. I'm a mousebrain. She thought, flustered. "Uh.. should I leave.. or..?" Frostpaw asked in uncertainty, not knowing what else to really say.
Re: Rivalry's den
The sleek furred tom gave a small shake of his head,
"You can stay if you want," he said. The midnight colored warrior sat down, "I'm Rivarly," he meowed.

Re: Rivalry's den
"Uh- thanks." She said, and started to visibly relax. "I'm Frostpaw. I was the medicine cat apprentice of TempestClan." She looked sad for a moment, but then a look of determination replaced her expression. "But not anymore. I had to leave anyways. I might join a clan someday, I guess. But I couldn't be a warrior, so maybe not." She said with a shrug. "Were you in any clan?" She asked in curiosity.
Re: Rivalry's den
The jargon flew above the tom's head, the cat having no idea what a "medicine cat apprentice" was. He tilt his head to the side, his expression dazed with slight confusion. "No," he meowed, "I have never had the intention to join one, either. But, lately, rouge life has began to get boring, tiresome and almost lonely," he said.
Re: Rivalry's den
"Oh. That doesn't sound too good." She saw his look, and chuckled. "I'm guessing you don't know what a medicine cat is? If you don't it's just a cat who heals the clan with herbs. But, they can't have mates." She explained. "I was.. the apprentice. I still miss my mentor, but I don't regret leaving. But I don't want to be lonely. It sounds harder than I thought, and it will be extra hard with this leg." She said, and lifted up her leg slightly in reference.
Re: Rivalry's den
"I've never really talked about clanlife. I did have a friend, who was from a clan. She was a good friend, but, we never spoke about her past, so, I never learned much about the clans," he said. He listened to her speak, amused and curious; she truly did seem like from a completely different forest. "What happened to your leg?" He then asked, his golden eyes drifted down to her leg.
Re: Rivalry's den
Frostpaw looked sad once again, and looked back at it herself. "When I was little, A monster ran over my leg. TempestClan took me in.." She looked back at the cat with a sigh, remembering the first cat she saw. "I loved herbs, so, a cat named Silverlight trained me. She was like a mother to me, almost immediately. I already miss her, and I left only a couple of hours ago..." She meowed. "I really don't know anything about being a rogue. I was born one, but I barely remember."

Re: Rivalry's den
Audacity sat and listened to the conversation. The brawny ginger tabby flicked an ear then gave a small smile. "Frostpaw?" The name ticked over inside the tom's mind, before he gave a sad sigh, "It's me, Audacityflame. I, too, was from TempestClan. But, I left..Shadefeather was in love with CopperStar and then he had his accident.." He shook his head, "I guess I just felt alone."

She widened her eyes. She hadn't seen him in forever. " I wondered where you went." She said, looking solemn once more. "I'm so sorry. I had a feeling this cat, Panther..leap I think? liked her too. I have a similar feeling.. I mean, I was the medicine apprentice so I couldn't even have a mate when I'm older." She meowed with a sigh, and looked away, remembering training with her mentor. "I guess it doesn't matter anymore. But, when I first left, it just felt so quiet. No cats snoring, no gossiping in the night, no sharing tongues anymore.. is rogue life really that lonely, all the time?" She said, her hope starting to drain.
Re: Rivalry's den
Audacityflame lowered his gaze, he could relate so well to Frostpaw. He glanced to Rivalry, "Is it?" He asked, curiosity in his tone. "You said you had to leave, Frostpaw? What did you mean?"

Re: Rivalry's den
Frostpaw opened her mouth to reply, and then considered if she should say it. It's not like he is a stranger. He was in TempestClan too. She thought to herself. "I have to find my brother. When I was a kit, me and him got separated. I can't go on like this without knowing what happened to him." The white she-cat replied. "And if he's in StarClan now, I don't want to be a medicine cat apprentice. I want to continue my family, to become a queen someday. I don't want to be alone forever. I love using herbs, and training, but I'm not going to train if I can't have kits." She explained, sighing and looking away. She hated her choice, but it was all that could be done. "Maybe.. maybe if I hadn't got hit by that monster, he would be with me in TempestClan, happy, and I could be a warrior! Maybe if I didn't get hit, I could have saved my parents... but no..." She said, gritting her teeth.
"Because twolegs have to ruin EVERYTHING! They destroy our territory, and threaten us with starvation because their big stupid monsters scare off all the prey!" She snarled, pain in her voice. "I would give anything to watch twolegs go through the things we do. Maybe then they would UNDERSTAND!" She growled. "But, there's too many 'maybe's in my life. I want to know. I need to know." She meowed, and glanced over at Rivalry and the kit. She didn't care anymore who knew her past. It wasn't a thing she could hide anymore.

Re: Rivalry's den
Audacityflame gave a small smile and nudged the cat out of sympathy. "You did what you had to. Sometimes things happen and we can't explain why or how. But, they did. We shouldn't regret the past or try to change it. It's useless." The ginger tabby then gave a laugh, "Twolegs are mousebrains. No one understands them. In fact, I'd be surprised if they understood themselves."

Rivalry gave a slight smile. He didn't understand much of the she-cat's story, nor had heard much or had anything to do with two-legs. StarClan? A queen? He pushed the thoughts aside and flicked his sleek black tail across his paws. "Family," he muttered, softly.
Re: Rivalry's den
Frostpaw's white ear flicked, hearing the murmur. She smiled at AudacityFlame, thankful for his comfort. "Sorry. I just.. really hate twolegs." She mewed. She had kind of an outburst previously, and felt nervous.
Re: Rivalry's den
The ginger tom gave an annoyed look as he thought about two-legs, his head shook. "I can understand," he said, "I'm sure most could. They're frustrating, clueless and cause more harm than good to the forest."

The snowy-furred she-cat nodded. "The only things that look beautiful that they made are the loads of plants surrounded by white things made of trees." She said. "If that's why they take away our trees, though, I'm pretty disappointed. They should just leave them there! They have a lot more use when they're not white and sharp." She meowed, giving her opinion. "It just makes no sense. I could go on and on about twolegs making no sense all day." She suddenly had a confusing thought. "What if they think we're confusing too?" She said, pondering. "That.. would be weird..."
Re: Rivalry's den
The brown tabby laughed. His eyes were bright. "I kind of miss clan-life," he admitted, "But, I love it here, too."

Sympathy filled Frostpaws gaze as they shined at AudacityFlame. "Uhm.." She murmured, placing her right paw nervously in front of her left. "Is there any place I should know about here? Have you seen any dens I could sleep in when the sun sets?" She meowed, her stare now focused on the bright sun, extremely slowly going down in the sky.
