Russet The Lone Wolf Carefully Made Her Way On The Lone Side Sighing Softly

The Delta male eyed the lone wolf, his eyes narrowed into slits as he silently watched it.

"Shanook," he greeted him as he went to the Delta Male's side, his eyes in the direction of Lone Wolf Territory.

"Shanook, Okami," Aiyana barked. The Alphess pressed her pelt gently against her mate's, smiling contently. "Decided to check it out?" She asked Okami, her eyes shining. "So dId I," she spoke softly, so softly it was barely audible.

Okami licked her cheek. "The pups are safe?" He asked, tilting his head. He stared towards Lone Wolf territory and nodded.

She sat down beside the Delta and the Alpha, nodding. "Yes, yes," she sighed, shaking her head, slowly. "You think I would bring them with me?" She teased.

Okami laughed and gently nuzzled Aiyana. "Sorry," he said, "You four just mean everything to me. I love you all so much."

She smiled, rubbing against him. "We all love you, too," she grinned.

Okami licked her cheek. "I really am lucky to have met you," he said, smiling.

She shyly glanced away and batted at his ears. "You, lucky?" She shook her head, "It's I that was lucky. You could have picked any she-wolf you wanted. But, you went with me."

He shook his head, laughing. "How often do many male wolves get to meet a wolf like you?" He shook his head again, grinning from ear-to-ear. "Not often," he chuckled.

She smirked at the compliment and bumped into him roughly.

Okami laughed and shook his head. "Not only beautiful, but cheeky too."

LOL. I saw! xD Should of made him snore. Then Aiyana could of whacked him. :3

Aiyana felt slightly shy but leaned in, against him. "I think we look terrifying," she said, "If any Lone Wolf wants to mess with Washaki, they'll see us, leaning on one another and debating over who's luckier. Isn't it just frightening?" She laughed.

Iris wandered to the border, drawn by the scent of the Pack. She sat on the border, calmly, eyes dancing at the landscape of her possible new home. Her loneliness had driven her to the pack. I need to be here, she thought to herself.

Shanook glanced across to the lone-wolf, his eyes running up and down the wolf with interest. "Hello," he said as he emerged from the darkness.

Iris met his gaze briefly and hesitantly bared her neck in submission. "Are you the wolf I need to see about joining the pack?" She tried to hide the desperation in her voice.

A large bulkly male wolf appeared through the darkness eyeing Iris with caution, amber eyes narrowed. "Why would you want to join the pack? It's a harder life than you think." Fenris barks cocking his head slightly.

Sakani walked past, and saw Fenris, a former lone wolf. Sakani stared at him, and seemingly right through him, reaching inside her soul. I can't just join. I can't. But I.. She thought, and then shook her gaze from him. "I've overheard your conversations before, when you were a lone wolf. Good luck with you and Waya." Sakani barked warmly, though pain tugged at her heart. She was reliving bad memories being at this border. Her parents deaths were too painful to bear. She walked away, her ears down as she tried to ignore the emotions.

Fenris turned and spotted the she-wolf just as she began to pad away, his amber eyes widened- I remember her... her name is... The beta's mind echoed as he raised his black snout into the air. "Thank you Sakani." He called, feeling a pang of empathy for her. "You will always be welcome to join the pack, if you are willing."

Her ear twitched. Sakani heard the reply, and felt better. She just couldn't decide if she wanted to join or stay by herself. She gulped, and turned around for a moment, her breath came slow. The decision is mine to make, and I shall make it now. She thought, and walked back towards the border, fear no longer in her eyes. If he was accepted, I don't see why they would turn me back. She thought. Besides, I miss my brother and my friend. "I...-" She stuttered, nervousness found her way back into her heart at trying to join back. "I-I wish to join Washaki Pack again." She stammered, a weight lifting off of her chest just by saying those words. But then fear found its way again. What if they think they don't want more lone wolves joining? What if I'm not accepted there? And if I am accepted, I'll probably be an omega, won't I? She shook away the thought.

The Alphess had overheard the conversation and slipped out through the bushes. Her flowing snow white pelt ruffling gently in the cool breeze. "Is that so?" She said, interest swelling in her luminous yellow eyes. "How will I know I have your loyalty? How will I know that you will not take our prey and then leave the next?" The Alphess spoke somewhat sharply; the prey issue on her mind. "Washaki will gladly accept you, provided you promise me we will have your loyalty. I assure you, if you make this promise, it is not one you will wish to break."

Sakani felt her fur bristle with even more fear at the question of Aiyana. What if they don't believe me? She heard the thought in the back of her mind, but ignored it. "You have my word, but I will also show you that I mean it by actions as well." Sakani barked.

Aiyana's firm expression softened, a smile came to her muzzle. "Then you are welcome back to the pack. Care to remind me what your ranking was within the pack? Sentinel or Scout?" She flicked through her mind, unable to remember.

Sandalio Smiled as she saw a new wolf joining the pack she swished her tail looking over at the new comer a smile forming on her muzzle

The Alphess glanced across to Sandailo, "This is Sakani," she barked to Sandailo. "She was from here, but, left a while ago. She has wished to return," she said. Her fluffy white tail wagged contently.

She nodded, "Oh I see" She nimbly turned away and made her way down the border and quickly slipped into lone wolf territory hoping she wasn't seen.

She glanced back around to Sandailo, frowning slightly at the wolf's disappearance. "Where did she go," she thought out loud, shaking her head. "Some wolves," she muttered. "Anyway, welcome back."

"No kidding." Fenris murmured in agreement, cocking his head in the direction of where Sandailo used to be. With a light huff, he turned back to Sakani, "Yes, welcome back."

Adanya emerged then from the shadows, the Guardian protectively at the Alphess side. She gave a slight nod to Sakani and Fenris.

Sakani felt so relieved. Tentatively, kind of not used to it, she stepped across the border, leaving behind her old territory, smiling.

Iris watched silently, wondering if she should slip away. But then her dauntless side kicked into gear. I wont run like prey! She met the Alpha's eyes and said, "I'd like to join the Pack. Could I be a scout? I swear by the light of the moon and silence of night that I'll be loyal to you and to the Pack." Iris lowered her eyes and bared her neck in submission.

Shanook by then had also came to the border, a sly grin on his expression. "It seems we have a lot of interest recently," he glanced to Fenris and Aiyana.

Iris watched silently, head low.

Adanya observed Iris with interest.

Okami watched his mate and nodded to her, signalling his approval. "And what is your name?" The Alpha stepped out of the shadows and stood by his mate's side.

"Iris." She met your eyes. "I can't live alone any longer.." Desperation flashed briefly in her pale green eyes.

Has the lack of prey sent all of these lone-wolves here? Thoughts of suspicion floated through Fenris's mind, making him sub-consciously narrow his eyes at Iris. The beta forces himself to keep a straight face, glancing over at his pack-mates. Sakani I understand... but.... we have plenty of mouths to feed on our own. This she seems too desperate.

Iris growled low and flattened her ears realizing how she sounded. "I would never be just another mouth to feed! Just as I can take care of myself, I can hunt for the Pack." Fiery determination glazed across her eyes. "I just need the security of a Pack. Every wolf does. My heart leads me to the Pack, not for food, but the solidarity of a Pack. We are stronger as One." Iris poured all her emotion into her voice to get you all to understand.

Before stepping out of the shadows on the lone territory Sandalio looked both ways and quickly raced into Washaki packs territory breathing heavily hoping no body noticed she was ever gone she slightly made her way towards the other looking at the wolf they were talking to.

Adanya caught a glimpse of Sandilo, a low growl formed in the back of her throat. Probably meeting some lone wolf, she thought as she glanced away and focused her eyes on Iris. Aiyana and Okami will know of Sandilo's behavior soon..This lone-wolf.. Does she really seem all that trustworthy? She leaned closer to Aiyana and softly whispered. "I just caught Sandilo running from the lone wolf territory to here," she said, softly before glancing back to Iris.

Iris gazed toward Sandillo's direction where she disappeared, briefly. Hmm... curious.. She turned her attention back to the wolves before her, meeting each of their eyes, proving she had nothing to hide, then she lowered them, awaiting judgement. "If you don't want me in, I understand, but I'll have to hunt everyday and drag the kills to the border, to prove to you that I can provide for the Pack. I may be young, but I can disappear, easily. My family trained me in stealth when I was a small pup. We had to hide a lot to avoid conflict. I give you my word that I can bring a descent kill, everyday." Her eyes never wavered.

Sandalio ruffled her fur and made her way away from the others.
