Anyone get the newest pokemon game?
I did the day it was release ( 'cause i'm a pokemon geek Razz

) and I can't believe how fast I got hooked on it! I can't stop playing it! Very Happy

I literally woke up Saturday morning jumping around screaming "X AND Y!!!" when I didn't have a 3DS. Or the actual games. xD
My friend beat the game in 3 days. He's crazy.

I played a little of GTA5! It's actually pretty good Smile

Well, pokemon hasn't changed much xD but it's still good to me! Pokémon X and Y has amazing graphics for a pokemon game, everything seems almost 3D for the most part. you're even able to ride on the backs of different pokemon on land.
I don't really like the new bad guy team, and the new pokemon type though (Team Flare, and fairy type) they're a little... weird >.> xD

Question: How good is the plot of X/Y? I am less interested in the graphics and different species of the games, but if it's got a gripping plot, I want it.

The plot for X/Y is well... in my opinion... lacking. Some parts such as the beginning are pretty good and flow rather well, but once team flare and another character (who I won't say since I don't want to spoil it) appear, some of the plot seems a little rushed. There are barely any new pokemon apart from the Mega evolutions, but the ones that are there really bring the game together. The cinematic scenes are probably the best part for me, 'cause they actually include your character, who is fully customizable.

But unlike games such as diamond/pearl/platinum, and the GBA and GBC (Game boy and game boy color) games there really isn't much depth with any of the characters apart from the professor. Though the newer features in the game somewhat make up for it.

Finally, this game seems to be very easy in the sense that pokemon level up and evolve faster in this game, and the league four (when each member usually has six pokemon, they only have four each minus the champion.) wasn't much of a challenge to me. Also, the end game add-ons and bonus features are lacking too.

But, the newer features save this game in my opinion.

Hm, well levelling up quickly is super useful, and that alone is enough to make me lean towards wanting to get it. xD

I got 4 games, 2 X and 2 Y versions. I beat them all in a WEEK!!!! Yeah, me Crazy!!!! They're easy to beat. They don't have any complecations at all so basicly......... they suck. I WASTED ALL MY MONEY ON POKEMON AND ANIMAL CROSSING NEW LEAF!!!!!
