She padded along the borderline, her tail swaying.

A black male wolf sat at the borderline, his deep amber eyes gazed cautiously at the border. Pondering whether or not it would be wise to cross it into wolf pack territory.

Nisha bounded up to the border, her tail wagging as she patrolled the border. I wonder what would happen if I started eating grass instead of meat? thought Nisha, stopping for a moment to think. "Maybe my fur would turn green!" She burst out, then she noticed the lone wolf and went silent.

Fenris cocks his head at the newcomer, not quite sure whether or not to be defensive he stands up. So...is this what all Washaki wolves act like? They sound like pups. the male wolf thought. "Why would you want your fur to be green?" he barks in a rather dull tone.

She shook her head and growled, her eyes narrowing at the newcomer, "I don't." she caughed, remembering what she was suppost to do if a loner was at the border. Nisha strode towards the border, her fangs bared. "What are you doing so close to the pack territory? As far as I know loners usually don't patrol their territory." She snnarled, mustering her most serious voice

The loner's eyes darken, as his throat rumbles with a deep coarse growl "I can look can I not?" he retorts coldly, standing up and backing away from the border out of passive respect for the wolf pack he was told about so highly by others. "And why I patrol my territory is none of your concern pack-wolf." he lets out a harsh snort, his once quiet curiosity faded. Fenris bares his teeth defensively, his hackles rising.

The alpha of the pack briskly padded up to the borderline, her gaze fastened on the lone-wolf. She carelessly twitched the end of her long fuzzy white tail and began to swing it side to side. "Lookin' awfully close there, loner," she called, shooting a cheeky smirk to Nisha.

He glances to the alpha, then back to Nisha, with a cold hard glare. "Does it matter?" the lone-wolf asks curling back his lower lip and giving his best snarl.

A she wolf the colour of coal peered out from the tree line, on the lone wolf side of the border, at the conversing wolves with slight curiosity. Are these the famous Washaki Pack? She muttered to herself, They don't sound too welcoming.

Growing impatient, the wolf snorts with disgust and whips around "I have hunting to do." Fenris grunts, starting to pad back into Lone-wolf territory. All these wolves are odd, why did I even bother with them? he thought, casting a slight glance at the lone-she wolf.

Nisha blinked and watched the grumpy-loner leave with narrowed eyes. What put a thorn in his side? she asked herself, shaking her head to clear it from such thoughts.

Ruelle glanced at the male, then at the pack wolf. She didn't really want to stop and chat with the pack wolves. She never got on with pack wolves that well.

Waya slowly padded nearby, observing everything quietly. In a way, she wanted to support the other two lone wolves. But she never really liked pack wolves. She hesitates; before padding slowly foward. "What's going on," She mutters to Ruelle and Fenris.

The male wolf ignores Waya, coldly disappearing into the trees. Tired and annoyed by all the commotion that his quiet curiosity had caused. All these she-wolves! Bah! he thought with a snort, starting to leave.

Nish flicked her ears and squinted towards lone wolf territory. What truly baffled her is what lay beyond the border. And the grump-loner's behavior confused her greatly. Maybe all male lone wolves are like that. she thought, shrugging.

"Hey, Fenris." She calls with a smile as she pads and joined him. "Anyone threatening?" She asks as she scanned the border. She relaxed slightly as she realize there was none.

Laika pads up behind her alpha, her muzzle parted in a sly smirk, "This loner seems almost as harmless as those kitty-cats." She barks, her eyes bright. "You look awfully close to the borderline, I wouldn't get any nearer ifI was you!"

"I advise you to teach your pack slight respect to loners. Just because I'm not in your pack doesn't me I'm weak. Irritating loner wolves that are checking the border is not q good idea." Her eyes were cold and met the alpha male gaze steadily.

"Agreed," Fenris huffed, narrowing his eyes into a darkened glare. His ears perked upward sharply, as he stood beside Waya. "Especially you Pup," He glances at Laika, then back to the Male Alpha wolf. "Picking fights with loners will not end well." His bark was cool and crisp.

The she-wolf coolly smiled. "We are not being rude or disrespectful - Oh, such a joke! You have not seen rude or disrespectful, yet. We were merely heeding you a warning, merely reminding you that there is a border here that is shared and that us pack wolves do keep a close eye on it. You all clearly misunderstood." She brushed her pelt against her mate's, slightly; her amber gaze fastened on the lone wolves.

He shakes his head slowly, already feeling tired of this conversation. "Curiosity can get the best of any wolf." He adds letting out a hard snort. "I understand that you were merely guarding your borders, but such warnings are not needed." He glares at the pack-wolves through cold amber eyes. "You lot bark enough already. Such useless whining." With that he turns to Waya. "Let's go."

He reared around, letting out a deep growl at the alpha. "Us? Foolish?" His fur remained flat, but his eyes were a lit with frustration. "To think..." He snorts. "I wanted to learn more about the pack." He turns around, looking in the direction where Waya had went. "If you won't accept that we meant no harm, why would you accept me at all?" His bark was thickened with defeat. As he pads forward, his eyes became dulled of emotion. Getting ready to leave, without another word.

In a cautious trot, the lone-wolf padded towards the border once more. Standing right in front of the scent line, he swallows an ounce of air before looking around. Is she around here? He wondered, his amber gaze shifting back and forth across the other side of the border. I'll probably need to get her attention... alright here goes nothing. Closing his eyes, he places a single paw onto pack territory.

Okami leaped from the shadows, landing a tail length or so away from the male wolf. "Can I help you?" An eye narrowed, "Weren't you the male wolf who was harassing us not too long ago, with some female companion? Something along the lines of useless whining." The alpha took a step to the side, examining the male wolf. "Or have you changed your mind?"
