She approached the border and stared over into ValiantClan territory, her eyes narrowed.

Nightmare stalked along the border's edge, carefree with her steps but still managing to stay on the ValiantClan side. She kept her head faced forward and she didn't even spare a glance into TempestClan territory.

The medicine cat padded along the borderline, sighing. "We need some horsetail," she muttered to herself and continued to pad along the borderline. She elevated her head, sighting some horsetail on TempestClan territory. "Just my luck!" She beamed and stepped over the border. She picked the herbs then padded back to her side of the border.

The russet tom made no advances forward, remaining a tail-length away from the border. His gaze intensified as he spotted the Valiantclan leader. "Greetings, Nightmarestar." He flashed her a cool smile, dipping his head slightly. "As you might have heard, our only water source has been contaminated. Tempestclan cannot survive without water. Therefore we would like to ask if you could kindly allow us to access your stream." He meowed abruptly, his tone firm.

Nightmarestar eyed the other leader coolly, a coy smile gracing her muzzle. She shifted slightly, "No clean water? What a predicament. Now why should I let your clan trespass to have access to my clan's water?" She tilted her head slightly, seeming genuinely curious.

Silverlight narrowed her eyes at Nightmarestar's comment. "Besides, hasn't TempestClan ever done anything for ValiantClan?" she reasoned. She tried to say it in a friendly tone since Nightmarestar didn't seem to be threatening them, just curious.

The she-cat picks it and brings it to Burnpaw. "Here," She divides it into a small dose. "take this, it'll fix the cough." Leafheart gives the dose to the apprentice.
