The Border

Okami padded along the border, his ears twitching. He eyed Lone-Wolf territory then marked his scent across a bush.

Shanook padded down the border.

Sandalio sat near the edge of border looking around debating of just crossing... just run away from the pack since she felt unwanted her eyes were glued to a fern in the lone wolf territory her mind racing /If I cross and leave no one will notice/ She thought her tail swishing back and forth

Fenris broke through the thicket. Spotting Sandailo, the beta pads up beside her; looking intently at the lone-wolf territory. "Something interesting over there?" he barks, trying to sound friendly. He was never the best at casual conversation.

A rather nimble-looking she wolf with shaggy fur, a very dark shade of black similar to obsidian padded along the tree line on the lone wolf side of the border, her gaze moving to cast a wary glance at the pack wolves every so often. Snorting slightly in amusement, she focused her gaze in front of her once more. Pff - Pack wolves. Fighting and hunting for each other. How degrading. The cynical wolf thought to herself.

Her eyes wavered slightly and her body tensed as she heard the wolf but then relaxed noticing it was the beta, "Ah no just wondering" She thought for a moment trying to figure to say something, "It's just that I saw some lone wolves padding closer to the border" She lied holding her head up she swished her tail then got on her 4 paws, "I was just whatching the border making sure that no lone wolf crossed." She barked confidently

Aiyana approached the two pack wolves, her eyes went to Sandailo. "Adanya caught you jumping across to lone wolf territory when we accepted Iris into our pack. I never had the chance to talk to you about it..Until now. With the battle and the trouble with the Sky-Wolves." She slightly frowned as she peered into the lone wolf grounds. "Were you about to disappear again, into lone wolf territory?" The Alphess sat down beside her and Fenris, her golden eyes soft and warm.

She looked at her and dipped her head, "Uh hi there uh did she see me?" She shuffled her paws, "Ah no I wasn't planning on to leaving. . . again" She sighed then sat down looking at the floor her ears flat. "I just really wanted to visit my old pack.. home" She said flatly her eyes flickering but never leaving the ground, "Uhh well I should go I'm going to go patrol the fluffly squirrel borders and make sure they don't think of crossing" She stood up and dipped her head towards both of them and made her way off towards the borders

Fenris's gave Sandalio a knowing look, but decided to not say anything else. Instead he nods to her, and continues looking over at the lone-wolf territory; remembering all to well the feeling of wanting to return to his old life. A small flicker of sadness shone in his gaze.

Shanook stepped in front of Sandailo and growled, "Who do you think you are?" He barked, "Walking away from the Alphess when she is speaking to you?"

"Shanook," The Alphess said firmly, indicating for him to stand aside. "What happened to your old pack?" She asked, her eyes bright. She glanced to Fenris and slightly frowned. Does no one around here have true loyalty to Washaki? Or do they all just want to gallop back to their old homes.

Fenris shook his head, standing up No this is my home now... I need to protect it. What happened in then doesn't matter- I shouldn't act like this. He reminds himself, snapping out of it- he dips his head to the Alphess. "I'm sorry, that was disrespectful of me, I will help protect and care for the pack in anyway I possibly can." He vowed, lifting his head slowly.

Sandalio stepped back looking a Shanook lashing her tail slightly, she still wasn't use to pack life with Washaki since her old home was so different she turned to look at the Alphess, "I'm sorry for being so rude" She shot Shanook a glance, "My old pack was killed of by rouges... rouges who teamed up to slaughter my pack.. They killed every wolf, or some of the wolves left" She flicked her tail, "The pups, the poor innocent pups were killed of by the ruthless rouges there was just to many to fight them off."

He nodded, indicating that he was listening to Sandalio. Stepping aside he tried to give Aiyana more space, out of respect. Slowly regaining his composure, he looked over at Shanook with a stern glance. "Shanook, it is not your decision as to what is deemed disrespectful towards the Alphess. Please calm yourself, if Aiyana believes that Sandalio's actions were disrespectful- she can punish her accordingly."

She looked to the Alphess and nodded ,"I am sorry if I came off as rude and if you want to punish me I understand, It's just that I don't like talking about me past" She lowered her head to her.

"I was not in the wrong," he said, calmly to Fenris. His golden eyes slightly narrowed, "You were prepared to let this wolf go, whilst she was speaking to the Alphess and while you were daydreaming of lone-wolf life. If I have done something wrong, by all means..I am willing to accept punishment from the Alphess, but, Aiyana did not claim I did anything wrong. So, why are you telling me I have done wrong yet the Alphess has not said I have?" The male wolf frowned, almost annoyed at Fenris's power-play.

He shakes his head, letting out a defeated sigh; somewhat disappointed that he can't get his point across. "I did not mean it like that....you've done nothing wrong." His sternness vanished, as he sat down. "I meant that you seemed very tense is all, and maybe that you should relax a bit." Fenris smiled a little. "Also the alphess is here, and so she can manage the situation and there is no need for us to intervene." The beta barked calmly, but a sadness fills his system. If I can't even do this... am I even a good beta? He thought, yet refused to show it.

"Calm down, both of you," Waya barked, her eyes shifting from the two wolves, "There‘s no need to fi-" she lowered her head and started to cough.

Sandalio looked over to her flicking her ear, "Hey are you okay?" she stepped closer concern clouding her eyes

"Waya!" Fenris turned his attention to her as fast as he could, concern in his gaze. "Are you alright? Should I get Bevin?"

"I‘m....fine," she said, coughing. She felt dizzy.

The Delta tilt his head and frowned. "Waya?"

"Here." Fenris's bark was filled with worry, as he moves to her side. "Lean on me." He offers, distress in his eyes.

She tiredly leaned on him, slumping next to him.

The Alphess frowned at the Delta and Beta. "You two should not be squabbling like young pups," she said. She didn't mind how Shanook had acted previously and she did not mind how Fenris had tried to help, either, but she disliked seeing the two argue. "Waya!" Aiyana's cry was filled with terror. She quickly went to her side, "Come on. Let's take her to Bevin, right away. Shanook, Fenris, help her there now. Both of you will stay with her and ensure she gets there safely. Both of you should ensure Bevin has all the supplies he needs as well. Waya is ill and probably the first of many as the cold approaches. You two will need to depend and respect each other and we as a pack will need to unite and be strong." The Alphess nuzzled Waya, "It'll be okay."

He nodded. "Of course Aiyana." Fenris spoke quietly. As gently as he could he poked his mate with his nose. "Don't fall asleep, please, you'll be ok." Though he was trying to reassure himself more than her.

I just decided. Waya won't die xD

Waya tiredly looked up at the other wolves. "I am....fine."

Shanook gave the female wolf a gentle nudge with his nose, "Let's take her to Bevin now. He'll be able to help her much more than we can. Just try stay with us, Waya," he barked. The male wolf began to pad towards Bevin's den, his ears wriggled.

The young rendezvous pup plodded aimlessly along the border, casting wary looks across the lone wolf territory. She blinked her ebony oculars as she plopped rather tiredly on her haunches. "It's quiet here," she said to herself and lowered her upper portion upon the ground so that she was lying down. "I should visit this place more often."

Sandalio walked to the shaman den to make sure Waya was okay, she didn't know her but it didn't matter she was her pack-mate

Russet padded to the border watching the wolves, "Ummm" she woofed out nervously, "I'm Russet and I wish to speak to your alphas if that is possible" She watched them

Sabinx eyed Russet before sinking into the shadows, hoping to go unoticed. Her tiny stature pressed to the ground as she sought shelter in the shrubbery.

The massive grey brute walked around looking for any loners. As he walked he seen a russet red wolf on the other side. "Who are you?" He asked kindly but has his muscles tense. He stood there waiting for a reply.

Russet was walking down the pack and lone border she looked over sadly badly wanting to be in a pack her ears perked once she heard the sound of a brute she looked in his direction her eyes flickering, "erh.. Hi I am Russet" she said softly

"Nice to meet you Russet, im Marrok." He dipped his head before asking. "Why are you walking around these lands?" He asked as he looked her strat in her flicking eyes.

She smiled, "Nice to meet you as well.. Marrok" she shuffled her paws, "actually I have been wanting to join pack life for quite some time" she admitted looking at him

"Ah, Well im only a scout. You may come with me and i bring you to the alphas?" He asked and waited for a reply from her.

She smiled weakly, "I don't thinkt hey would want me I mean I am just a lone wolf" she watched him

He nodded "you never know until you try." He sat and waited. (maybe someone will come around and accept you." He said as he looked around.

The Delta male padded along the border. His large paws making imprints in the snow. He tilt his head and glanced across to Russet and Marrok. "Hello," he said, almost warily.

Russet's gaze looked over to the new wolf she stepped backed thinking, "H-hello"

Marrok heard the clicks of claws and he looked to se Shunook. Getting up did he bow his head in respect and just sat there waiting. Beofre he noticed he too said hello and was silent once more.

"Who are you?" He barked, eying the lone wolf. He shot a warm, friendly smile to Marrok.

"I Am Russet looking for a pack"

Marrok shot the warm, friendly smile back at Shunook. Before sitting there and watching the scene before him.

Sabby snorted, rolling her eyes before turning away and stalking off.

She glared at the other wolf before looking back at the others, /Rude much?/ she thought to herself

Sabby's tail whipped out of sight. Can't trust those lone wolves.. The yearling thought, ruffling her nape fur against the subzero breeze.

Marrok seen Sabinx Dissapear. He shruged as he waited if Russet would be aloud to join.

The Alphess stepped out of the shadows. Her golden eyes fixed on the lone-wolf; Russet, "Hello," she said, coolly. She tilt her head to Marrok and Shanook then smiled. Her head turned back to face Russet, "Is there something you want?" She asked, in a surprisingly warm yet soft tone.

Russet dipped her head, "Hello I am Russet and I wanted to join a pack yours to be exact" she watched her
