Maplekit scampered over to the Maple tree and sniffed it. "Whoa... the Maple tree! And... I'm Maplekit!" She mewled silently to herself. She touched the tree with her tiny pad and sniffed it again. "Wait... this isn't the fresh-kill pile!" She wailed in a whisper to herself, ashamed of being distracted. "And a warrior can't be distracted!" She wailed a little louder and scattered through the camp to find the fresh-kill pile.
