She glanced across to SandCloud. The pale brown colored deputy lay her head down in her nest and tiredly closed her eyes. She was asleep within moments.

Sandcloud woke at sunhigh. She looked over at her mate, but he was fast asleep. "Hey Heatflow..." She whispered quietly, seeing if he was awake enough to hear. "Wanna finish hunting?" The ginger she-cat asked, remembering the hunting trip that was cut short.

AcornStep swiftly took big, trotting steps (If that makes sense... big steps... trotting.) into the den. She stopped and started shuffling back out and came back in with a bundle of moss. AcornStep placed it in an empty space and nudged it into the perfect shape. A bit hyper, she leaped into her nest and wiggled to get comfy before falling asleep.

AcornStep flinched out of her sleep from a sudden loud yowl. She caught a glimpse of CreekStorm leaving. Now that I'm awake I should go hunting... AcornStep thought as she stretched to her paws. She then lazily went out to the hunting grounds with a twisted, tired trot.

RoaringFire quickly fell asleep, so tired. His sleep was undisturbed for some time, then all of a sudden he jerked and let out a moan. He batted at his ear and was panting heavily as he kicked out with his large paws. He groaned and lashed out at his ear again. "Rill... Rill..." Came a whisper from his mouth. "Beware of Rill..."

AcornStep shrugged and went back to her nest, plopped down, wiggled to get comfy, closed one eye and looked at RoaringFire with the other eye. She closed it, and drifted to sleep. Wonder what that dream was about. Glad I can ignore the fact that it made him groan. What was he whispering? she thought. AcornStep's slumber was disturbed my hunger. She got to her paws and her stretching turned into a crawling-like pad. Out to the fresh-kill pile she went and wanted to see if her mouse was still there.

RoaringFire began to hyperventilate, breaking out in a sweat. "Rill... Rill... It's coming." He lashed out a paw, this time with unsheathed claws at his ear. He yowled and his amber eyes flashed open as blood started to well at the cut. His breathing was fast and unsteady, eyes wild, he shakily sat up.

AcornStep padded in and dropped her mouse to the round when she saw RoaringFire. "What the?" she mewed. "Are you... are you okay? What on earth is Rill and why do you keep saying that?" she mewed with a slightly worried tone. That's what he was saying in his sleep. Rill. AcornStep thought.

"You might need to see the medicine cat." AcornStep mewed. "It seems you're going crazy... over what ever. And you won't stop saying, "Rill" when I'm trying to sleep." she finished. AcornStep grabbed her mouse in her jaws and padded to her nest to eat it. She chomped on its body and devoured it. She coughed a couple of times, releasing dust from her mouth. "Yikes." she mewled. "Guess I never removed the rest of the dust." AcornStep whispered as she curled up into a fluffy ball. She twitched constantly, her belly aching.

The tom stood from his nest, shambling out of the den. Ragged entered the camp clearing.

Mumble staggered in after the other tom left, smiling timidly at Rain, the only cat he knew.

Mumble meowed quietly with a small frown replacing the emerging smile, "Were you injured in the battle? I haven't spoken to you since then - I stayed at camp, so I don't know what happened." His ears flatten nervously as he recalls the ground shaking.

HeatFlow twitched awake and realized TempestClan isn't here anymore. "AGH! My Clan is gone... oh... StarClan!" he mewed urgently as he charged out of the warriors den.
