"Lightningstrike!" Chestnutpool shrieked and tugged at his scruff. "We need to get some help for you." She turned to Silverfeather. "Please get Hazelleaf!" Her amber eyes were wide with fear. "Hang in there, brother. You'll be fine." She licked the top of his head and attempted to stop the bleeding with nearby bits of leaves.

HowlingStar darted out of the bushes which marked the border between the Thunderpath and SombreClan territory. He sighted Grouse and LightningStrike. "Pull them off the thunderpath!" He yowled, loudly as he darted to Grouse's side and began to tug at her fur. "HazelLeaf should not be too far away!"

HowlingStar licked the rogue she-cat gently before darting over to LightningStrike. "Helping a tom which tried to kill me," he said, mainly to himself. He turned his back on the tom and nodded to HazelLeaf, "Do you need any help from us?"

The warrior watched the medicine cat with interest. "Maybe so, but, you cannot forget one's actions over the period of a sunrise," said the shaggy sun-colored tom. He glanced down to Grouse, "A rogue?" He knelt down beside her and examined her carefully before turning his head to the side and looking at ChestnutPool; his ears slightlky flattened.

The leader narrowed his eyes, watching his medicine cat with annoyance. "Is it your wish for me to have you care for him out here? On the thunderpath? Your wish is granted," he said. "This loner, here, needs care, too. Do not forget that." The leader tilt his head. (I'm confused, what's going on with SilverFeather?)

The deputy briskly approached her leader's side, casting a slight frown down to HazelLeaf, "Learn some respect, medicine cat. I suggest you do more healing and less chatting." She released a slow sigh and examined the scene. "The thunderpath..Such a dangerous place to hang around," she said. "Warriors, keep off the thunderpath and stay on the grass by the path. We don't want any more injuries." She glanced to HowlingStar.

The brawny tom revealed a heart-felt smile, "Thank you. It was very brave, like ChestnutPool said. What is your name?" His tone curious, his amber eyes glowing like stars in the night.

"I have not asked you to go against your code and reject the injured tom. But, I am telling you not to bring him back to our camp otherwise other lives may be risked. I am certain you do not want to have that on your mind. You can use the warriors to help fetch herbs from your den and you can treat him here, on our border, but, he will not be taken back to Camp and that is final." The leader said, his dark yellow eyes had narrowed.

The leader emitted a light growl, having become impatient with LightningStrike and the predicaments he had caused. "Fine," he meowed. "As soon as he gains movement in his leg and is able to travel, he is out and on his own. If I suspect he is planning to attack another cat from my clan, I won't hesitate to send him to the wolves."

EelHeart padded into the scene, narrowing his eyes warily. He sighted his sister and saw she was unharmed and padded out.

The midnight black tom sat hidden in the bushes of loner territory. His fearless golden eyes resting on the bushes on the opposite site, he longed for a cat to come out and sight him there; watching into their territory.
