Crossing Borders

I wonder what is on the other side of this border... thought Nisha as she padded near Valiant Clan territory. "Perhaps I should go over and find out!" she thought aloud and darted across the border, sniffing everything with her small black nose.

Nisha cocked her head from side to side; examining the little creature. It looks sorta like a rabbit. she thought, stretching her neck out to sniff it.

She yelped and jumped back. I don't think that's a rabbit. she thought, growling at the bundle of fur. "What is you?" She asks, tilting her head to the side, "You smell kinda like a skunk and look like a rabbit."

Cocking her large head she reached forward again with her muzzle, this time her jaws were open. I wonder what it tastes like. She asked herself.

A lithe she-cat leaped out from the shadows, landing defensively behind NightmareStar. Her eyes glued on the creature, her shaggy mottled fur fluffed up. "Is-.. Is that a wolf?" She tilt her head, lightly growling.

SilenceStorm slinked by, his eyes wide as he joins them. He parts his jaws slightly. "It's a wolf," He hissed.

A fluffy white wolf approached Nisha's side, tilting her head to all the small cats. "What are they doing?" She frowned, "They look funny." She rolled her eyes in disgust.

SilenceStorm narrowed his eyes and let out a fierce hiss

The young wolf appears as Nisha's other side, her eyes bright, "OOOHHH, little squirrels, YUM!" She barks, bouncing up and down on the spots whilst she licks SilenceStorm's face... "Aiyana, PLEASE can we take some back for the pack, there so cute and fluffy, and they taste real nice, if you do, I wanna keep this one as my little fluffy squirrel," she barks, indicating to SilenceStorm.

He snarled and lashed his paw at her, hating it when she lucked him. "Get away and I won't unsheathe my claws." He snarled.

The alpha male overheard Laika as he approached the patrol. "They're cats, but, they look like squirrels, huh?" He smirked as he peered down to the cats, eying them up. "I must say, I've never tried one. Have you, Aiyana?"

He fluffed up his fur and unsheathed his sharp claws.

She barks in amusement, eying up the cats with hungry eyes.

He narrowed his eyes coldly, snarling out loudly.

She shook her head to Okami, "No, I can't say I have." A small smile came to her muzzle, "I wonder if we paw at them, if they'll run away with their tails between their legs? Like a frightened pup!" She chirped gleefully. "Well, I suppose they have done no wrong and so we should not harm them. But.. It is tempting."

He let out a growl. "Get away," He spat, his claws unsheathed and mighty sharp.

She turned her full attention to (whatever Waya's character's name is), curiosity in her eyes. I wonder what they're saying she thought.

He watched them with interest, "They're not bothering us, should we head back?"

She nodded, "I guess we might as well. It's rather boring just sitting here when we have much more duties to attend to. We'll have the wolves patrol this area well and they will attack them if they dare trespass." She smiled to him, pressing her pelt against his. "Let's go," she said.

The Beta bounded along the border like an excited young pup, she paused to sniff the air then continued to bounce along.

Okami padded down the border.

"Okami!" The alpha female called as she approached her mate.

Shanook greeted the two alphas with a smile as he padded down the borders.

Fenris padded down to the border curiously.

Sandilo Walked Down The Border Making Sure No Cats Came Across The Territory

The small black and white med-cat of ValiantClan was wondering along the border, looking for goldenrod. As Leafheart looked, she stepped over the border into another territory. The she-cat scented the air, but it was too late, she was too far in to find her way out. She caught the scent of an animal she didn't know what was, but she was terrified. "Not again..." She sighed and looked for a place to hide. Leafheart hid in a shrub, hoping the creatures she scented wouldn't find her.

Shanook emerged from the shadows, a deep growl rumbled. "Who are you and what do you want!?" He snapped, not realizing the animal and him could not comprehend each other.

When the wolf snapped at her, the young she-cat jumped. "Um... Please don't hurt me!" She squeaked, but she didn't realize the creature couldn't understand cat.

Shanook took a step towards her, his large muscles rippled beneath his shaggy grey pelt. "Leave," he snorted. "You are not welcome here within our pack!"

The she-cat shrunk back, for the wolf was much bigger than her. Leafheart couldn't understand it, but she decided that was probably good. She suddenly got some courage and hissed at the large canine. "Leave me alone!" She snarled at the wolf, hoping it was smart.

The Alphess charged out of nowhere, anger and worry filled her body. My pups! I can't have this intruder touch my pups! She thought quickly and continued to charge towards the she-cat, growling angrily. "Go!" She had sighted Shanook before but made no attempt to glance across to him as she bolted forward, "Help me drive away this intruder!"

The small she-cat squeaked, startled by the new creature, but she stood her ground. "Leave me alone!!" Leafheart yowled bravely and took a swat at the wolves. "LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!" She yowled louder.

Okami dashed out after Aiyana; moving quickly. The Alpha dashed in front of Aiyana, blocking her path. "Get back now!" He scolded to her, "You should not be out here." Okami's eyes were flaring with concern, he could not live with himself if anything had happened to his mate. Okami swiveled, turning his body to the cat. A slight smirk across his muzzle. He padded forward, slowly.

Leafheart darted left, attempting to confuse the wolves. She ran around them, just a blur of black and white was seen. Hopefully this works... the she-cat thought

"It's just a pathetic fuzzy squirrel!" She retorted to him, frowning. "It was the pups I am concerned about, not me," she pushed her anger away and narrowed her eyes with thought, concentration, watching the cat move.

Don't god-mod please by saying "she confused the wolves" - we rp the wolves, we decide if we're confused not have someone else tell us. Perhaps say "she attempted to confuse the wolves"

Okami ignored his mate's reply and jumped left, bolting after the small cat. He moved fast, very fast; his hunting of elks paid off quickly. The Alpha lashed his large and bulky paws out at the cat, growling. "Leave our territory, now!" He snapped, his golden eyes burning.

The she-cat swerved away from him, ducking under the she-wolf. Leafheart continued to run, unable to understand the large canine. "Why don't they give up already..." She sighed, but still had plenty of energy.

"Is she stupid?" Aiyana growled, impatiently. "Can she not tell she is trespassing?" The Alphess continued to watch the she-cat's running; waiting for a moment of weakness. "Out run her and kill her," she barked, "You are capable. I am.. Not so much. I am still too exhausted from the pups," she admitted, flattening one ear.

Leafheart knew a hostile look when she sees it. She swerved away from the wolves, and hid in between boulders. Only the small she-cat could fit between the rocks. "Gah, those things don't give up..." She mewed quietly.

"Clearly," Okami replied with a smirk. "Get back," he barked, "you are to stay safe." The large black wolf stretched then dashed after the she-cat, his muscles rippled with each powerful movement of his legs. He felt it was pointless, chasing a cat when he knew he was capable of out-running her and killing her. But, he did not particularly like the idea of getting blood on his paws unless needed. Nevertheless, he raced after her, his eyes fixed on her. When he saw her hide away, he came to a halt by the boulders. He lashed out at the boulder, his large claws scraping against the stone. He continued to smirk. "It will have to leave sooner or later, otherwise, it will die," he laughed and sat down by the boulders.

The she-cat froze in terror when the wolf was slashing at her hiding place. Leafheart hid in the shadows, blending in. She covered her deep blue eyes, hoping to blend in. She looked around for anything and everything she could use. There was a small berry plant in the opposite corner, she would check that once she felt it was safe.

Okami watched the she-cat; already he was getting bored.

Leafheart watched the wolf from her shadowy corner, staying completely still, as if she was gone. The she-cat was being extremely watchful from the safety of her boulders.

Okami peered into the boulders; he could taste her scent. "Hurry up and leave," he frowned. "Just get out of our territory and go back to wherever you came from."

Sandalio Came Rushing From The Forest Her Fur Bristled As She Scented The Trespasser Then Slowed Down Next To Her Pack Mates.

"It's in between the boulders," Okami barked as he heard another wolf approach.
