Shanook approached the boulders, he decided to circle around the boulders - a few times, seeing if there were gaps for the cat inside to escape through. He sat on the opposite side from Okami and the others, watching his pack mates.

She approached the plant across the way. It was safe to eat, and it could hide her scent. She rolled in the herb, hoping her scent would be covered.

The she-cat gazed at her escape route, hoping it'll work. Now or never... Leafheart thinks. She slips out a small gap at the back of her hiding spot and dashes off. She has no idea where she's going, but she runs to where she hopes is the edge of her Clan's territory.

Shanook glanced down, seeing the she-cat go through the boulders. He bounded after her, rapidly, "She's escaping!" He howled, alerting the others. Shanook followed after the she-cat, hoping he could get her off Washaki territory.
