The Fresh-Kill Pile

She darts in and swiftly drops a rabbit, then pads to her den.

She entered and placed a mouse on the pile.

She swiftly dropped a vole and a bird, proud of her kills.

He places the vole and the young eagle on the pile, smiling proudly.

"That eagle was a great catch," She told him.

A new apprentice walks into the camp, and she sets a small bird and a squirrel onto the fresh-kill pile. "Yeah, nice catch!" she mews when she notices the eagle laying on the fresh-kill pile. Her blue eyes glow as she yawns tiredly.

Copperstar dropped a vole and a squirrel on the pile, plucking out a bird and settling down next to the pile.

Amberpaw stretches, then picks up a vole and carries it to where the other apprentices normally eat.

(Who would you like for a mentor I'm letting you pick because there really aren't that many people in Tempestclan so yeah )

Copperstar dragged a fish off the pile and sat down in a patch of sunlight.

Amberpaw looks up anxiously, then returns to eating the vole.

Copperstar smiled at the apprentice. "How are you?"

"Yes." Amberpaw replies, surprised. "When am I going to get an official mentor?" (I seriously don't know who...)

I'll do it now.)

"Quite soon." He purred in amusement, tail flicked to the side.

Her head perks up, and she shyly returns to eating her vole, finishing it. "Thanks!" ()

Copperstar bounded to the pile and dropped a bird onto it.

She entered and picked off a small mouse then padded contently to the side to nibble at her prey.

Copperstar scented the air, a troubled expression entering his features.

She tilt her head towards her leader, an ear flattened with worry.

"I hope we find a way out of the problem with the other two clans." He flattened an ear, eyes hardening. "And yet we cannot show them weakness..." He munched on his hare thoughtfully.

The new tom placed a freshly caught rabbit on the fresh-kill pile and padded back to the camp.

She lowered her head, shaking it from side to side with sadness. "Same," she said, "I don't know how much longer we can keep it up. Going without water.. Our bodies will not tolerate being without for too much longer." She flicked her gray and white ringed tail across her paws and thought for a few moments before speaking. "Perhaps there is something they will need from us. Maybe not now, but, maybe with moons to come. Weakness would be to give in. We would not be giving in, but, maybe protecting them, helping them until we can find a better and more permanent water supply? We would be helping them as they would be helping us? A temporary mutual agreement, no weakness involved." She tilt her head to the leader, offering her suggestion.

GlowingLight trotted in, picking up a mouse from thr freshkill pile and finding a sunny spot.

He nodded slowly, pondering the idea. "I'm afraid we will have to act on our own until they respond to us." Copperstar eyed the pile and plucked out a shrew. "Glowinglight, will you take a patrol out to find a water source? Perhaps in unused territory?"

ShadeFeather smiled, her head tilting to GlowingLight.

Stormstrike padded in, feeling happy of the way she could catch prey while being in TempestClan, and dropped in a large rabbit on the pile. She trots out and then comes in with a large, plump fish. She left to the warriors den after she placed the prey she had caught and Heatflow trotted in long moment after she left. He dropped in a gigantic fish and shook his whole body releasing droplets of water splashing everywhere out of his fur. He padding back to the warriors den.

Sandcloud padded to the fresh-kill pile and deposited a large, plump rabbit on it. She was pleased that she caught such a piece of prey, for she's a pretty new warrior.

CouragePaw Made Her Way To Drop Her Recently Killed Mice On The Pile

"Good kill," ShadeFeather meowed, glancing to CouragePaw.

CouragePaw Looked At ShadeFeather And Purred, "Thank You, I'm CouragePaw By The Way" She Grinned.

He placed the rabbit he caught down and walked away with a proud smile on his face

CouragePaw looked At MistRipple, "So Where You From, I mean Before"

Heatflow raced in to stand in front of the fresh-kill pile and plopped in 6 mice. He slid to the side to allow Sandcloud to drop in the other 4 mice.

"Nice kills." The leader slid by the pile and let a vole and a shrew slump to the ground, grabbing a thrush in return.

ShadeFeather merrily trotted through with two mice. She placed them elegantly on the pile then darted out.

Sandcloud sets down the four mice she was carrying. "Thanks." She mewed.

"Your welcome very much." purred Heatflow. He started trotting to the warriors den but stopped to call over to Sandcloud. "Go back to whatever you were doing if you want. I mean, before I invited you to hunt with me. Or if you just feel like it... follow me to the warriors den." He called over his shoulder and continued trotting to the warriors den. Positive thoughts filled his mind as he moved on. He then called something back over his shoulder to Sandcloud. "Uhh... S-sandcloud... N-never mind..." He meowed and shook away the thought.

Pantherleap put his prey in the freshkill pile, the adrenaline rushing through his veins. He felt like he was a panther, even though he wasn't. He padded back out of camp again.

CouragePaw Made Her Way Hungrily And Picked Up A Vole

Sandcloud glanced after Heatflow. That hunting trip was great... she thought, Now he's acting kind of strange... The ginger warrior padded after him, exhausted.

"Hey, it's CouragePaw, right?" She tilt her head, smiling warmly. (Sorry I didn't see your first comment saying hi xD )

The ginger warrior Sandcloud set down a freshly caught rabbit on the pile.

Copperstar padded by, glancing a the pile. He nodded, satisfied, before strolling off.

She padded over slowly and picked up a petite mouse and ate it slowly. Something was obviously on her mind.

(The cats aren't in TC at the moment, they will be soon, though.)

Sandcloud checked the fresh-kill pile. Seems to be unharmed, that's good at least... She thought as she padded away.

The fluffy patchy she-cat placed down a fresh fish then bounded away.
