The Contest.

"Let all cats old enough to catch prey gather here beneath the HighRock!" The pale brown deputy leaped up the HighRock as she yowled the words. She paused briefly, to wait for cats to gather. She started to speak. "Leaf-Bare has come, and this has been probably one of the colder leaf-bares." She said, her meow echoing in camp. "There's not much prey in the forest - we are barely feeding ourselves. Also, sickness is also arriving from the cold....so I have decided to arrange some playful competition to keep our skills sharp and warm us up." She announced. Her pale green eyes shifted from cat to cat. "It would be a hunting competition, this time. There would be three teams - I will lead one team, and I have chosen two of my most trusted warriors to lead the other teams - it may be you next time. The competition will start tomorrow at sunrise, and the team that catches most prey wins. The competition will end at Sundown. " Her pale green eyes shined brightly in the sunlight, then flicked her ears. She began to list out the teams. "On my team, there would be CreekStorm, StormingWind, AcornStep, SnowPelt, RaggedStep, ReflectionLight, and WingedPaw." Her pale green eyes traveled to each of the cats then continued, "The second team would be led by...CricketShade." Her warm pale green eyes shifted to the bi-colored warrior then continued, "On CricketShade's team, there would be FrostStream, DarkHeart, TigerGlare, LionFang, DawnRiver, DoveHeart, and PreyPaw. The last team would be led by ResoluteStep." Her pale green eyes drifted to ResoluteStep. "On ResoluteStep's team, the following cats are on his team - RainShine, MumbleStride, SnowStreak, FallenSnow, NightPaw, IcePaw, and SagePaw. Good luck to you all. I'll head to the Pines, CricketShade's team would go to the Rock Pile, and ResoluteStep's team would head over to teh Twoleg nest." She finished, revealing a warm smile.

- I'll end it in about 3 - 5 days or when most members posted. I want everyone to join in. :3 The ones that I didn't list out is because I'm unsure are they active or not. If you are, hurry and send me a PM and I'll assign you to one team.
-Make a seperate topic if the main topic is quite crowded, or has many pages. If it isn't very active, feel free to just post on the main. :3

NightPaw stood, listening attentively as his leader made her announcement. At the mention of the competition followed by the his inclusion in the contest, his emerald green eyes flicker with excitement.

ResoluteStep bowed his stormy head then let out a loud war cry, "Come on my team! Let's show the others how real warriors hunt!" His golden yellow eyes flickered, his tone playful. The stormy hued warrior padded towards the Abandoned two-leg nest, ready to begin.

ChipmunkFire leaped down. "Good luck to you all!" Sge yowled. "Let's head to the Pines!" She calls to het team.

"Ooooh! This should be fun!" Doveheart smiled, her eyes bright, the first time since the Gathering. It would be more fun with Roaringfire.... she thought in the back of her mind, but she shook it away. Nothing was going to ruin the competion for her.
