Nightmarestar leaped onto the highrock, her eyes scanning the area closely. "Cats of ValiantClan," she started, putting emphasis on the Clan's name, "Please gather beneath the highrock." She waited for only a few moments, "Today we're here for the naming of a new warrior. Dawnpaw, please step forward. I, Nightmarestar, leader of ValiantClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Dawnpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" She waited for the 'I do' from the apprentice.

With a small purr rumbling in her throat as she looked down at the apprentice, she smiled and continued, "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Dawnpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Dawnriver. StarClan honors your enthusiasm and your strength and we welcome you as a full warrior of ValiantClan."
